i got scammed using Alipay

silly me but i met someone using Tinder, she showed her wechat ID swob5276.
We interacted and she gave instructions to meet at the train station with the AXS machine. It didnt strike me as a scam , and an unknown caller got me to transfer over $1000 in cash. A police report was made and i m waiting to see the situation unfold.

Just sharing to prevent anyone here from being cheated of their money.

sorry ah bro. but have to say. you silly as fk. this scam is like 3 years old, so many victims in sg n u still fall for it. plus, who the hell pays 1k for 1 girl? the girl got gold pussy ah? hope you learnt not to listen to random strangers on social media. police will investigate alongside china own police, but this will take months, and you wont get your money back because they wont be able to recover everything. the scammers will hide the money/spend it quickly.

on a side note for everyone else.

scams are on the rise in SG. pls take care of yourselves and do not expose yourselves to these guys. they will ask for payment via alipay, itunes card, any axs machine etc.
