THOMSON COMMUNITY CENTER GIVING OUT MOULDY N95 MASKS TO SENIOR CITIZENS Submitted by farhan on Tue, 29/09/2015 - 10:18am I went to collect two pieces of 3M N95 masks - models 8110S and 9105 - from Thomson Community Centre last Friday. When I checked 3M's website, I found that my mask model 8110S, which had the lot number 49334, had expired last November. Why were these expired masks issued? I noticed that the foam strip inside the expired mask crumbled easily, resulting in users breathing in the disintegrated particles. When I raised this with the community centre, the staff said they would discard the expired masks, and issued me new ones. I have also heard of senior citizens receiving mouldy masks.
