Where is the Singapore boat going?

The Singapore boat had 86 rowers and 1 captain. Times were hard and the people onboard did not have it easy. But it was a respectable boat despite the humble beginnings. However, the people onboard thought that it would be better to have a different type of rowers to ensure that the Singapore boat does not go in the wrong direction. So some of the rowers were replaced. The Singapore boat has since seen unproductive and childish opposition from the new rowers, with no contribution to the direction of the Singapore boat. The new rowers did not even see the aging issue coming but conveniently took advantage of the situation when the original rowers suggested measures to protect the aging population. The Singapore boat is fortunately still moving along fine. If more rowers were to be replaced in the coming election, in order to show that they are the right choice, the new rowers will continue to bicker over the slightest thing, criticizing everything that can be criticized and remain non-constructive towards the direction of the Singapore boat. With less rowers, the remaining rowers will now have to bear heavier responsibilities each and row even harder than before to row the Singapore boat towards shore. The Singapore boat will move slower and may even end up moving laterally to nowhere. Is this the kind of Singapore boat you want for your children?
