Maybe Parliament should update its law pertaining to our GEs. For instance, for anyone who loses his/her deposit, no further participation in future GEs. Can a person who loses his/her deposit ever make a comeback? Unlikely.
For those getting below 33.3% (without loss of deposit), they should be given another try. Why 33.3%? Because, in a straight fight, a candidate is expected to achieve that average.
For those above 33.3%, they can take part until they lose their deposits. This way, we eliminate clowns from contesting.
