Harian Metro reported that at about 12.30pm last Monday, the woman, 46, invited her cousin to her house when she happened to pass by on her way to a nearby shop. She led the victim into the bedroom on the pretext of meeting her husband. The moment she entered, the man put his arms around her and dragged her to the bed. He then raped the struggling victim in front of his wife, who stood by watching the entire incident. After he was finished, the wife told her cousin that he was going to leave town. The victim was told to clean up in the bathroom before going home, where she told her elder sister about what had happened. They then lodged a police report. Beluran OCPD Supt V. Sivanathan said the couple was arrested on Thursday, and the victim sent to the Duchess of Kent Hospital for a check-up. Initial investigations revealed that the couple was alone during the time of incident as their child was in school.
