I think the singapore market is very small. Therefore budget will be very weak. Moreover pornography doesn't appeal to all Singaporeans. There will also be a lot of competition from japan etc. if there is no money in it, how to attract talent? I'm sure there will be a lot of male pornstar wannabes who will volunteer. But how many singapore girls will do it? Maybe FTs?

Problem is not so much about customer base. Its that Singaporeans love.... freebies. Why buy when you can pirate?

Of course, unless its not just porn that is legalized but the whole chain it is connected to (prostitution etc.) and there are a hell lot of prudish cultural norms to get over. you will be surprise how easy it is to do it and how little set up you need compare to other type of production

even uni/diploma students can do it.

all u need is a boom mic, a DSLR(35/50mm lens), some LED lights on lightstand with diffuser, makeup artist and the location thats it.

each of the equipment can be rented at a low cost of less than 400sgd a day and the returns will be much higher.

If you have the money you can always fund a japan-based company and use SG talents. Once your title is published in Japan, market it in SG-based forums.
