Mah Bow Tan said that he willingly resigned from cabinet so that cabinet could have more new blood and it was timely for him to resign and his resignation was never related to HDB. That means he never agree that there was any problem with HDB supply, demand and pricing during his reign as Minister of National Development. Do you agree? Pls comment.

前国家发展部长、淡滨尼集选区议员马宝山在2011年引退时，坊间有各种传闻。马宝山在接受一 新书《世界因 你而精彩———新加坡海南杰出人物专访》专访时，揭露了他退休的真正原因。
马宝山在访谈中提到，他在退休时，毫无怨言与遗憾。
“尽管坊间有各种传闻，甚至传言我为高涨的房价背了黑锅，黯然退下，我并不这样认为，我觉得我已 经为新加坡 政府和人民献上了我最宝贵、最有价值的人生阶段。”
他表示，是应该退休的时候，让位给更优秀的人才，将新加坡建设的更加美好。
