PETALING JAYA: The headmaster of controversial school SK Seri Pristana has denied apologising to parents over the use of a changing room as a temporary canteen in the school.

“I never apologised to parents as I consider the matter is already resolved,” said Mohd Nasir Mohd Noor when commenting on reports that he had apologised to a group of parents during a meeting on Monday.

An online report had stated Mohd Nasir , who had directed non-Muslim pupils of the school to eat in a shower room during Ramadan, apologised during the Monday meeting yesterday morning with the school’s Parent-Teacher Association, state education department officials and the parents of the pupils affected.

Mohd Noor told The Star that Selangor Education Department director Mahmud Karim, also attended the meeting in hearing the grievances of the parents.

“How can I speak when my superior was there at the meeting,” he said on Tuesday.
