Thumbs up Passers-by moved car that was parked badly

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Passers-by who were not pleased by how an inconsiderate driver parked his car on a two-lane road came together to put things right.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, the car had been parked on a speed bump near the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall off Balestier Road, making it impossible for buses to pass through.

After seeing the situation, passers-by worked together to lift and push the car until it was shifted sufficiently to the side of the road, allowing two SBS Transit buses to pass through.

The incident happened around 2.45pm on May 24, Vesak Day.

Although there was a traffic jam, no one sounded their horns, The New Paper said.

The video was uploaded by 31-year-old property agent June Tan. It went viral after that.

In the video, onlookers were visibly amused by the passers-by's actions. Some of them clapped when the car was shifted.

There was no sign of the driver throughout the entire incident.
