Prataman to the resue at Geylang road junction
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Prataman rescues woman sitting at traffic intersection May 17, 2013 Audrey Tan 090307_Nathan2.jpg Thursday afternoon was like any other for Mr Rahiman, 56, who works at a prata shop. But that routine shattered at about 3pm. While standing outside the shop, some people told him there was a traffic jam outside because a woman was sitting in the middle of the intersection at Sims Avenue and Geylang Lorong 1. A woman, who appeared to be about 50, was sitting cross-legged in the yellow box at the junction, reading a book. And despite the oncoming traffic, she did not budge. For about five minutes, Mr Rahiman tried persuading the woman to get up, but to no avail. Then, he went to the side of the road, where road works are ongoing, and picked up a road sign. He used it to divert traffic away from the woman. Attached Images
