HIV is the prelude to AIDS, the virus can remain inactive for years before turning into AIDS and attacking your own immune system.

There has been breakthroughs, but doctors remain sceptical about it. It is like cancer.
If you have cancer, you go chemo and radiation treatment and the tumour goes away, you are not cured. The term used is your tumour has "remitted". Cancer remitting and relaspsing is a common phenomenom encountered by doctors.

This is one of the worries they have about the HIV/AIDS cure.
Will it be permanent or a remit/relaspe thing.
Furthermore, the cure is not by medication but rather by bone marrow transplant, which is complicated, dangerous and up to chance.

There are people who are immune to AIDS - Medical Fact.
You will need the bone marrow from these people to fight AIDS.
Provided they are willing to donate(sell) it to you.
There is a 6 for 6 match for bone marrow compatability.
You need a hospital willing to do the transplant.

Before the transplant happens, you have to go for TBI, total body irradiation to kill off all your own existing bone marrow.
That is going to hurt.
If any of your bone marrow exist and new marrow is transplanted into you, there will be a case of graft vs host issue where both marrows are in conflict and there is no probable cure for that except for another TBI, but unlikely to survive it as the first would have made you too weak.

Current medication now has been doing a good job in slowing down the HIV/AIDS progression.
Hope that with all the gene research that is being done, researchers can isolate and replicate the particular gene that makes some immune to AIDS and turn it into medication, vaccine or cure.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

But it is one long tunnel at this point.

Well bro, interesting…… but, no offense, I don't see the point.

First of all, I believe vast majority of the HIV immune cases were found in Europe where they had tones of plagues years ago, they genes mutated.

I believe I read in one of medical journal sating around 1% of the Europe population is immune to HIV

Well as for Asian, it is stated the case is extremely rare to nonexistent.

Not even saying the medical cost and finding the right donor is sufficiently difficult alone.....

Plagues are not discriminating, it hits every place.
Asia, Europe, Africas, Americas.

They found it in more in Europe and North Americas cause thats where the research is strongest.
The same level of research has not been conducted outside of those 2 continents.
