Should Samsters Meet To Fight It Out?

starting this thread is necessary as it concerns samsters. from different opinions of commercial sex, there are incidents whereby samsters challenged each other to meet somewhere to fight. it does cause some concerns that a forum of free speech can turn ugly this way. the lastest being a member barrett wanting to meet another member thaivistor.

should such meetings whereby fights are expected, take place? should thaivisitor takes up barrett's challenge?

how well does it speaks for members who issued the challenge? are they of proper background and upbringing, etc?

if a member declines the challenge, does that speaks poorly of him? is he a coward, chicken or whatever?

personally i discourage such meetings and dispises such acts or challenges. this is a forum of free speech, sharing of FRs, advices, criticisms, opinions, etc. any member who cannot take it, should preferably stay out of the forum.

Don't think it's a good idea to meet up to "discuss" matters. Things could get out of hand and who knows what might happen?

Differences in opinions are only be expected and people do say things that they may not truly mean in the heat of anger so i don't think it's fair to say that one's upbringing is no good when one person challenges another. The thing about the internet is that people don't really see each other face to face and reading only the words that the other, so misunderstanding tends to be amplified. Hope that the brothers involved can resolved their differences.

In my opinion, there are bound to have conflicts everywhere... So, the matured way is to resolve the conflicts by talking it out instead of jioing for fights... We are not small kids anymore and shouldn't use fight as a solution for resolving conflicts which is a childish way...

Anyway, as for the incident of a guy wanting to meet ThaiV, Uncle has already stated that he is free to meet up at GL10 for kopi when he is there. Anyway, I don't think it's necessary to involve in fights or anything harsh. For kopi and discussion is fine. If no choice, still have to pass through me first... Of course if I am there lah...

We are here for fun and definitely not to make enemies...

Well, just to share something that happened recently to me. I was setup by a local FL and a fellow bro to talk/settle things out over some conflicts and childish matters without my knowledge....

It was the most humiliating and insulting meeting I ever had.
Sometimes, its best to just leave things as it is in this forum, whatever need to be thrash out, do it here, in MSN if u like...cool off and forget about it....

Dont meet up in order to talk/settle things nicely etc...we will never know how's our mental and emotional state at that moment

Anyway, just cool off...dont do anything rash

so in cyberspace how to settle? the problem is that when the bros meet up then the line between cyberspace and reality becomes blurred.....that's why there are those who will never meet an online friend.

This is my 100th Post (I'm more of a quiet type)...

Anyway, I think I'd mentioned in that thread before, it's saddening to see the Sammyboy Forum are turning into like this now...

Majority of the threads I see now is :

1) "I have contacts, let's share" ... and no FR after that
2) Quarrelling etc, among fellow Samsters ... it's amusing to watch at first, but it does gets on your nerves after the 3rd or 4th page, when all you wanted to see is another FR!

Suggest Sammyboy Big Boss to engage a few more moderators to look into this... It's not only eating up precious bandwidth, also to prevent ugly incidents happening...

OMG...not in sammyboy forum....meet to fight!!!!those guys must be nuts...
did experienced some meeting that nearly end up in fight from IRC, can't control them, cos of jealousy of girls during that time. (abt 10yrs ago) as you all know chatting in irc is in real time and very virtual too with instantly replies...
One have to distinguished between opinion forum , virtual irc chat with the real world. That is to be real in this forum, irc chat or being in a virtual world. Having to live in two world in your life? I believe to my true knowledge...most of them, in fact 99% opinion in this forum is real and of much experience. Some had gain friends and valuable advice thru this forum, which is truely valuable in both sense of the world. Same goes to irc chat, I do make lots of friends from chatting both male and female, some had end up as drinking buddy and had stick together to advise those new to irc chat on tipics and so on. There's bound to have opinion conflict among samsters as I had gone through...the only way to resolve it is to : ignore those wanting to resolve in meeting for a fight, stay cool , take it as a pinch of salt.

i'd agree with maybe meetup for coffee... Senior bros here i believe are more matured than moving their fist unless to those who boink w/o paying. Perharps maybe meetup to clear the misunderstanding as we all know it's best to meet up n clear things rather than in cyber or on phone. my answer is of cos not to meet to fight it out.

1stly, this is all online stuff, its not as if we have not enuff problems to deal with in the real world to bother with such trivalities online.

2ndly, we all hide behind our online persona in this forum, someone who u jio out to fight might be anyone...from yer best fren(improbable tho) to yer superior... worth the while? not to mention if escalate into fight, its breaking the law, riskin jail time and fine and bad record.

3rdly, we are all here to share share...why not close one eye and let it pass? and when flaming each other, leave each other enuff leeway to make an exit. no nid to flaming the person till no return. if we can do this, then we have reached the goal of this forum which is all about sharing. be it vids, stories or FRs.

lastly the world will be a better place with lesser conflict...make love not WAR.
