Any recomendation on where to stay in Shanghai

I will be in Shanghai in march. Any ppl kind enough to advise where to stay in Puxi area. Heard that Puxi got more action. Looking for budget less than S$100 stay per night.

Bro, please check out BAO AN HOTEL in PUDONG. Walking distance to some shopping centres and.... MP.... HEE HEE

There are a lot less than SGD100 budget hotels in Shanghai--Clean and good. For example HomeInns, etc. If you walk alone the stretch of nanjing road Shopping street (especially in the night time) or river side. Sure someone will approved you. But becareful and watch-up you money. Sometime, they will slot-in like name card into your hotel room for all different types of services.

Another happy for hang out like xing tian di.

So it is depended on what you really want. Don't depend too much on taxi (expensive) and if they do not wish to go to the place they will not rejected you (because they will get complaint--Summon) so usally they will tell you they don't know how to go to the place.
