1st trip to hadyai.. help needed

hi.. need help from buddies out there to recommend which travel agent can help me book hotel.... or u haf any fren who can help to coordinate?

from the forum, noe that can get hotel at cheaper price from travel agent.

me n 3 other frens wil cheong on 14th to 15th... if any buddies happen to be there on this date, we can cheong 2gether...

After reaching Hatyai, just go to any travel agency in town to buy hotel vouchers and check in. It's much cheaper and wider choice than booking through a S'pore agent.

Any travel agency will do. me prefer lovely tour coz i know them. If u travel by buses. then u will reach in the earlier morning, buy hotel voucher lor

If u r on budget. can go for Hatyai Palace Hotel or Hatyai Asia Hotel or Merlin Hotel. All these hotel at See Kim Yong (KFC farm). There is one 7-11 also. Price ard 420B to 500B Moreover, walking distance to Lee Garden Plaza and Hollywood disco.

Bro evo5555, IMHO, lee garden are known as "poor service" in HDY. Also have 2 go to 10 floor then switch 2 another lift. also many uncles and auntie. no porno channel.

I know Hatyai Palace Hotel hv porno. now i dunno.

no need advance booking 4 rest of hotel. Sakura Grand view need advance booking. One thing Sakura Grand view is clean. 820B only. advance booking if u intend 2 stay lee garden, estimate 1150B.

One bad point about Lee Garden Plaza as bro tirak99 has mentioned is the hassle of transferring lifts. As the hotel is located right in the heart of the tourist belt, it is nearby to disco/pubs, shopping centres etc. A cheaper option will be Grand Plaza, rooms not as big but just next to Hollywood Disco and Pink Lady.

Hatyai Palace got porno channel but nothing to shout about...mainly masked Jap AV...

wah lau LGP (Lee Garden Plaza) the aircon smells man!!! want to stay go regency hotel new wing hehehe i love that place. about 1150 baht with voucher.

Budget can go Hatyai Palace about 500 or 550 baht if i can still remember.

If u first time go hatyai. i think u go stay nice hotel first lar. regency hotel 5 min walking distant to oden n LGP shopping centre. =)

SKY (see kim yong) think for u will be sian cos need to walk quite awhile to oden. cos u dont know the way.

For me SKY will be a nice place also hehehe not so much pple.

anyway dont need to worry about hotel full house lar. now a days bcos of the stupid bombing in the south. the weekend retreat of the cheongster have cut down quite abit.

just came back from hatyai 3 weeks ago. quiet like hell there.

The Regency, if through walkin the room tariff is 890 Baht (old wing), if thru travel agencies is only 700 baht. 2 months ago I checkin as walkin customer paying 890 baht (about S$38.00 per night) . I rented a flat near Lee Garden plaza.
I plan to go up there on 14th Aug then to Bangkok.
I may stay 2 or 3 days in HY.
(Time not fix depend on jobs)

For your info, Sakura GV agent price at 850B.(price gone up from 820B last year) nearby got internet access 10B for 45 mins.(video shop)
Highly recomended this hotel, good price with safe, clean confortable room
with seterlite channel.
Not very far from chicken farm if u know how to go.

My advice to you is to bring along a portable vcd player there because many places in Hat Yai sell pornographic vcd and you can buy and then watch them at your hotel with your puying. When you go there the first time, act smart and do not bindly follow tuk-tuk driver advice or else you will find everything in Hat Yai very expensive. If you want a reliable tuk-tuk driver, pm me and I give you his contact.

For hotel, I suggest you stay at BP grand view as it has a swimming pool and the room is quite big. For shopping, shop at Diane because things there are cheaper. Go Songkhla resort to stay also quite nice, can play kite with your puying there, very romantic.

Thailand is a good place to live in and Thais are great people. Hope you will like the place.

If I am not wrong, those small stall holder there are selling 3 VCD for 100 Baht. mostly Jap & Thai pono type.

does the tuk tuk driver thr understand hokkien/mandarin?
