All Men are Liars - Sex, Lies, Prostitution
I happen to come across this blog entry – interesting! Do take a look at it.
The Sydney Morning Herald Blogs: All Men Are Liars Similarly in Singpore, Women – Much of their effort is used to make themselves attractive (to men). Cosmetics, slimming treatment, bust enhancements, the list goes on. Men – We focus our energies on carving out successful careers, moneymaking, so as to purchase that attraction. The logic is that the more $ and power men have, the more attractive women they will be able to “purchase”. I know there are bros here who are single (late 20s, 30s, 40s...). True love – Everyone’s looking for it – men and especially women. It does appear in movies, but in real life? Of course, a true relationship isn’t all about sex; the ideal situation would be you can find someone whom you are able to connect with emotionally, and the sex will not be plain animal sex, but that of a deeper level. But until that person appears, and if that person does not appear, are you going to remain celibate your whole life? Women have their needs, what more men? So you either: 1. Pay for FL/WL. Simple cash-service transaction. You get what you want i.e. sex. The FL/WL gets what she wants i.e. $. End of story. 2. You go to clubs (e.g. Zouk, St. James Powerhouse) and nightspots and try to pickup girls to get laid. You use those pickup artist methods to “build attraction” and get them into bed. Apparently, more deception is involved here, as in your motives are not as clear-cut as (1). After all, if you went up to a girl and asked “I just want sex - nothing more”, you’re going to fire blanks 9.9/10 times, so those pickup techniques are somewhat needed. (1) Vs. (2) I think the general thinking is that (2) is more morally right than (1). I used to think like that. Not anymore. Not that I want to justify commercial sex (that’s not my purpose), seducing girls in clubs and trying to get them into bed isn’t morally superior to paying for sex. At least there is some honesty (less mind games) for the latter. What’s your take on this issue? |

In other words, I'm always looking to pay for "being wanted" so that I can enjoy that great turn-on to have the best sex possible - however it's still a deal, although it's not a one-off transaction. Do I sound confusing or contradicting?

Its like fishing, either wait for the bait to be taken or go to the wet market buy instantly.
I'll go with option 1, simple cash transaction make things more easier and less feelings involved.

Having sex is different with making love. When you are having sex with someone that you have feelings for it's never going to be the same as making out with a FL/WL.
Or simply put it, if you just want sex, pay the price... |

Personally i would prefer commercial sex. Other options will have a higher propensity of developing feelings if your main objective is purely sex. Reduce the chances of hurting someone or hurting oneself.

Re: All Men are Liars - Sex, Lies, Prostitution
Getting commercial sex is to satisfy one's sexual needs. Its a transaction where you pay, bang, happy, and go off (sequence varies).
Getting gals from a night scene is much more than sex. The excitement of courting a gal; Ego boosting with the triumph of a conquest; Brain crackling mind games with opposite sex etc. I will chose gals from the night scene. Because I'm looking at fulfilling of the inner needs more than outright sexual needs. There is no such thing as morally wrong or right for either option. Just which side of the coin you want it to be. |

There are many different ways of reaching a goal. There are a number of different routes to the same conclusion. For the faithful, all roads do indeed lead to Rome.

Urgent call, option 1.
Leasure game, option 2. That's me. Although both lead to sex. Option 1 is clear cut, option 2 no guarantee. If option 2 fail, must remember the source to option 1, or else will have to spent the night blank |

Re: All Men are Liars - Sex, Lies, Prostitution
I agree with you partly, but I would like to add a point here. If man are caught cheating, chances are even if your spouse or GF says she'll forgive you, it's never true. They'll always remember it deep down.
For us, it's harding for us to say that we'll forgive them, but once we forgive, we'll probably generally eventually forget about it as well... Thats how I feel, what about you guys?
