If the story you heard of true, its either something about this guy that attracted the similar type of girls that like to drink, party and be a slut that cheat.
He's also very lucky not to be arrested and sued for arranging the gang bang/rape. Such girls just didn't worth it.

Yeah i guess such things are happening all the time, just that only a few incidents get reported in the news for us to see and know about.

This is not very common if you're not in those party circles. But if you are, then it happens. I wouldn't say it's rare, but of cos it's not everyday happening also. If you know how often the underground/undertable community meet up, then these communities/happenings take place as often too. Don't quote me, I also hearsay only.
