Tigerairways Now Got $9.98 Airfare To Bangkok Hatyai Etc

My travel is from 8/8/05 to 12/8/05 to Haytai (does it really mater where you travel to it is all at 9.98!).Below is the break down for the charges.

Butt KNN they last minute keep on changing timeing.My flight on 28th Apr. at 1430hrs change to 1750hrs.

I noticed that the tax & service charges are very high. Much higher than when I booked some tickets to Chiangmai 2 weeks ago: $55 compared to $68 now. If u try AirAsia, their tax & charges are even lower. Normal non-promo price including tax for SIN-BKK return is about $115. In the end, u don't save that much from this Tiger promo. Also you're limited to Mon-Thu travel.

Well, somehow, I could not get the S$9.98 both ways (one way was S$49.98) and, with the high taxes and other charges, my return fare came to just under S$128 in total. I'm travelling weekend though.

However, compared with normal Silkair prices and/or travelling there via Thai through Bangkok, its cheap enough so I have no complain except the over-heavy traffic on the site today.

Theres of course the damm weight restriction of 15kg and that could cost you an extra S$50 if you check in overweight with a golf bag.
My "trick" is to travel with half a golf set in a normal light-weight bag and I just make it with 15kg checked in and 7 kg in my hand luggage.

Bro stiffneck, can i join? But my air fare is free coz i have my own private jet! I use to drive up, time flexible n much cheaper compare wiv flight.

I will go next week then my next trip to hatyai is around august... good timing.

The Tiger Airways ticket depends on demand. I just came back from BKK, flying there on 18/03/2005 and back on 23/03/2005. Booked 3 weeks in advance and costs me S$101.

I like to book LT so Hatyai is the better and cheaper place for me!
The SIN-BKK is not for me as the only buget airline that flys SIN-HDY is Tigerairlines.

Its best you go to the site yourself and process as if you are going to complete it and you can see the breakdown yourself.

And if you don't like the final figures,
you can always not complete the transaction and abandon the process.

We can tell you how much we bought but in the end, if your timing and choice of dates are different, you may not enjoy the same fares and come back and ask more questions here right?

Ehm...you got so cheap airticket because of its fare promotion. I am sorry to say it doesn't matter whether you booked 3 weeks in advance or not.
