What I mean is like in your case you were there with bro Peter N. Instead of checking in 2 rooms, just check in one together but reserve another. When bring gers back later then check in other room in their (gers)names. Peter's ger will bunk in with Peter then you bring your ger to the newly reg. room. Cud be inconvenient but saves $$$. Tried this method when staying in Duxton Hotel at HCMC.

it's a good ideal ... but than like u say it's a bit inconvenient ...
but than provided the same gers stay with u for the whole trip otherwise it's going to be check out and check in everyday ... am i right ??

You're right, it's inconvenient. Hope the vietnamese govn't opens up and becum more liberal soon goin the way of big brother China.
