Sexcapades: A Collection of Short Tales

Greetings, SBF community! New user here; been lurking around for some time now and finally decided to create an account. Came to know about this place through the various stories written on here. Started with bro Lakland's a few years back, followed by bros ilock, EoS, Shrouded, and most recently, sis June's, to name a few. Not to be biased, props to all the other authors on SBF as well.

Reading these stories inspired me to pick up writing myself, which brings me here. This thread will be for shorter stories, of which this will be the first (and hopefully not the last). They're mostly fictional, but loosely based on real-life events. As my name suggests, I am, by no means, a professional writer, and have limited sexual experience; I view this as a passion project of mine, and an avenue to refine my writing skills, so please forgive any shortcomings that I may have.

Do note that my writing progress mainly hinges on my motivation levels and life situation, so if I'm not doing too well, expect little to no updates from me. I also have a longer story in the works, but that'll be for another time/thread.

Now, without further ado:


Beep! Beep! Beep!

An annoyed look crossed my face as I slowly opened my eyes. I was in the middle of a pretty good dream, and my alarm had disrupted it. Damn it.

Groaning, I reached for my alarm and turned it off. The obnoxious beeping finally stopped. Then, silence.

Staring at the ceiling, I debated whether I could afford those infamous five more minutes of sleep. For some reason, the warmth of my blanket this morning was just too inviting, my bed just too comfortable, and the memory of the dream I’d been awoken from still lingered on the edge of my mind, even though it was already starting to fade. Sigh.

Gingerly, I forced myself to sit up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Dragging myself to the bathroom, I proceeded to carry out my morning routine: a quick shower, a quick brushing of my teeth, a brief skincare routine, and a quick styling of my hair. By the time I emerged, I was looking like a different person.

Putting on my signature blue shirt and black trousers, I grabbed my laptop bag and headed out of my apartment unit. Breakfast could wait until I reached my office.

Thirteen minutes later, I was on a train bound for the CBD. As always, the carriages were packed with commuters from all walks of life. I didn’t necessarily mind, though; to me, at least I didn’t have to worry about all the things commonly associated with driving/owning a car.

Besides, being behind the wheel doesn't always get you in close proximity with girls, if you know what I mean.

As the train moved along the tracks, I found myself wedged between the usual mix of tired-looking office workers, students glued to their phones, and the occasional tourist looking slightly overwhelmed by the morning rush hour crowd.

There was one person that caught my eye this morning. Standing just a few feet away and diagonally facing me, was this young, professional-looking lady. She was dressed in a navy blouse and a black pencil skirt, complete with a dark blazer and matching heels. Simple, but elegant. Her long, brown hair was kept in a neat bun, complemented by her delicate facial features.

She was quite the looker. Any guy would be lucky to have her.

Couldn't be me, though. Her standards seemed too high for someone like me.

She was reading something on her phone while gripping the handrail, lost in her own world. I glanced away before she could catch me looking at her, pretending to check the in-train display screen. Still a few more stops to go.

The train rocked slightly as it passed through a curved tunnel, and she shifted a little, adjusting her grip. For a second, I thought our eyes met as she looked up from her phone briefly. Or was it just me?

Probably just my imagination. Still, a guy like me could wonder.

Continuing from where I left off previously:


The rest of the train ride was rather uneventful. Our gazes never met again, and she got off at the stop before mine. So near, yet so far.

Shortly after, I arrived at my station. Stepping out of the train, I joined the throng of people heading towards the exit. Once at street level, I was greeted by the familiar hustle and bustle of the city: cars honking, heels clicking against the pavement, and the chatter of phone calls around me.

After walking for a while, I finally arrived in front of my office building. The automatic glass doors slid open to allow me entry, and I walked through the lobby, nodding at the security guard by the entrance before exchanging a quick greeting with the receptionist behind the counter. Tapping my access card at the gantry, I made my way towards the lifts and stepped into one.

Pressing the button for my floor, I leaned against the wall of the lift. A soft 'ding’ signaled each stop as people filtered in and out, some engaged in quiet conversations, while others were absorbed in their phones.

Reaching my floor, I strode out of the lift and towards my desk, greeting a few of my colleagues along the way. Setting my bag down, I took out my laptop and powered it on.

Just another day at work.

It had been about a month and a half since I entered the corporate world. Fresh out of uni, I decided to apply for an internship to better equip myself for the working life. After countless rejections, my efforts finally led me to a local firm. Admittedly, they weren’t high on my list, but I decided it was better than nothing and accepted their offer.

Looking back, it wasn’t too bad of a decision. The benefits were decent; nothing too fancy, but enough for me. My workload was manageable, although there were times when I was kinda stretched. And my colleagues made my transition from academia to a corporate environment smoother than I expected.

There was, however, one thing that felt a bit lacking.

I was the only intern in a male-majority setting.

Without any other interns around, my days felt a little...isolating. Don’t get me wrong, my colleagues were good people, but there was still a gap, one that came from not being in the same boat or age group as me. There was only so much they could do in that regard.

On most days, I ate alone. On others, I tagged along with my colleagues when they invited me, but the conversation often drifted into topics that I had little to no input on: office gossip which I wasn’t privy to, company stuff that just went over my head, and so on.

Then there was the ratio of males to females in the firm. Within my department alone, the guys outnumbered the girls about three to one, and the ladies, while friendly, mostly kept to themselves and had their own circle(s). Add in the age gap between us, and trying to strike up a casual conversation with them and not feeling out of place wasn’t exactly easy.

“What about other departments?” you may be asking. As far as I knew, there weren’t many interns in my intake to begin with. Even if there were, they were spread out across different teams or worked on separate floors, meaning our paths rarely, if ever, crossed. The same could be said about the staff, so that was that.

Even so, I didn’t let it bother me too much. My work kept me occupied, and I told myself that being independent was a good thing. Besides, it wasn’t like I was completely alone in the office.

Still, a little balance and company wouldn’t have hurt.
