In Sg, it is still risky to flash for males but less for females.

Do not be a sick flasher(s).

When I was in my younger days when I just started work in SG, I rented a room near woodlands and when Sundays, I will read newspaper in the living room chair wearing my loose boxer. Other housemates in and out will probably noticed it but no one ever confronted me😀

Maybe your previous housemates considered everyone as a family member since living under the same roof.

It is common for the family members to dress minimum/bare at home, may expose privates at times (whether flash or not)
but seem acceptable to everyone. That was perhaps why no one confront you.
