Yaya papaya' tour bus driver parks illegally -- but has the cheek to argue with traffic enforcer
Posted on 28 January 2015 | 3,629 views | 12 comments

Many netizens have commended this traffic enforcer for staying calm despite having to deal with the unreasonable bus driver.
A tour bus driver was seen arguing with a traffic enforcer who had pointed out that his vehicle was parked illegally near the Supreme Court in Singapore.

A video of the incident was posted on All Singapore Stuff by KH, and it appears to have been filmed by the bus driver.

It starts of with the driver asking the traffic enforcer where he should be parking, to which the officer points out that there are coach bays in the area that are designated for such buses.

But the driver replies by saying that the coach bays are usually occupied by cars. At this point, he pans the camera around the area to prove his point.

However, while some cars are occupying coach bays, other buses are parked in lots designated for such vehicles, with only one or two exceptions.

And, some lots appear to be available. While the officer tells him the basic rules and to refer his complaints to URA, the driver asks if the officer's boss can call him to explain the situation.

The officer agrees and takes down the driver's contact details. The driver also says he would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes to pick up tourists in that area.

Many netizens have pointed out that while the bus driver filmed the video, he did not help himself by doing so.

Most netizens felt that the driver should have moved as the enforcer was not issuing a summon, but merely warning him about the traffic violation.

Some also praised the officer for keeping calm in such a situation.
