According to John Hopkins University, the Hiv virus lives for about
30 secs - 1 min when exposed to the air, so chance is very very low.

yes a virus without a host live very short as mentioned but what if the virus still living in the fluid...will the virus live long in vaginal secretion that is still on condom....

Its true about HIV only having 30 seconds life outside the body but other STI can live longer.
