This story has been repeated so many times in so many countries by so many men, and the women are also from so many countries, Thai, VN, PRC and so on. Many guys do not realize that when something seems to good to be true, it usually is. The girls will make you feel nice and good, better than a local girl, be it Asian or Causasian and they mistake this "nice" feeling as love. They want to maintain it and also want to keep feeling it and that is where all bets are off.

This guy did not learn his lesson and now wants to try Thai.... he will repeat the story again.

How fast does one fall in love? Is it lust or is it really love? Be careful out there guys, the girls are far smarter than us and more calculative.

I read the story and wow now I know why they won the Vietnam War and how The Americans lose the war. They sure are good at acting... So bro anyone can tell the real good vietnamese and the bad vietnamese... Vietnamese are too cunning for Singaporean!!

Maybe cunning is too harsh a word to use.... more like survival instinct is much better....

Singaporean???..... not street wise enough, easily makan-ed by many.. those that survived are keeping dam low key...

Singaporean (bred by Temasek) survive best in local environment.....

Anyone heard of this phrase before from WL... I want to work now so that next time I am old, I dun need to work anymore... I am wondering how much they really need to earn in order not to work when they are old... Think they can stay at home and wait for the sky to drop money.... Too much too much... we Singaporean work until our last breathe...

If u stay at the country side, i think 1 person $200 is enough... but this is lifestyle without any luxury. Just simple meals...

Seems to me the monetary losses is not too much, not sure about that during the 2 years of marriage but the amount stated like AUD$150 monthly for family, $700, $1000 for operation and even only $5000 for wedding, etc. - Not too bad in exchange for 2 YEARS of "perfect marriage"... most "fools" don't even get a fraction of the returns for their investment

No need to hear from WL or whatsoever, I also told myself many many moons ago, I will work so that I dun need to work when I get old.....

Now, I want to continue working, stop working mean I die.... but I work hard, play harder.... till the last breath hopefully. Preference is to die smiling than to wait for death.......

This phrase is a common phrase for all WL and FL. They hope to earn enough so that one day they can retire and open up a small business and do not have to hook anymore. It is also the same phrase many others use. But the big question is how many fall into their own world of traps and lies and also high spending? Easy come, easy go, so they also spend a lot on frivolous things. Then they find that they are not much better off and have to hook some more and it is a never ending cycle.

But bro, in some countries, it is a wonder how a little goes a long way. Imagine, in Thailand, with $1,000 SGD, you are actually very very comfortable if you go native. That means eat where the locals eat what they eat, live where they live and so on. In Sg, that is barely enough for a comfortable life. So go figure it out lor.

this ang moh is in revenge mode now. he probably be visiting all the thai bars, wont see the last of him together with his KC story in Thailand...anyway, no need to pity any ang mohs in vietnam, bros who worked or stationed there since mid-90s will know how they behave towards the locals.
