hope those been there can share here(no hidden advertisement), and newbie's question will be answered. So that after newbie come back from Saigon, they will help other newbie as well.

D1:My Vinasun taxi driver from airport started meter without my request. A&EM allow you to bring lady. I stay 153 A&EM. Basically this area near Ben Tah market. but i prefer Hai Ba Trung Street more.HBT street has more pub. Went to bar 51, good mamasan, but less than 10 gals, only 3 met my standard. ask 1 lady sit with me, dont really like her, keep mentioning $$ and calculative. so i left for bar 91. lady there wear bikini, much more crowded than bar 51. basically mamasan will push you for lady takeaway. bar fine is usd25-30, lady usd60(st), Lt usd100. there are around 13 ladies, half of them are syt.after paying more bar fine, mamasan request for tips, i was not so happy. my lady get bar 91 " designated taxi" costs me 40k, kns, almost 100% more expensive than vinasun taxi(around $25k). due to these 2 issues, i felt very sien and i swear i wont go back to bar 91 again. luckily my gal treat me quite nice in hotel room. before she leave, she request of tips, i rejected and told her i was not happy with them.

question: there are a lot okt along hbt street approach me, are they trust worthy?

conclusion: i dont think District 1 suitable for me, too commercialised, perhaps i will stay either hbt (to try okt's lady) or District 5 tomorrow.
