LED lights shut off?

Hey dude,

I noticed something strange about Geylang these few days. Appears that many shops shut off the LED lights. The whole Geylang looks pretty strange.

Any idea what happen? I would have thought there was a blackout or power trip

I also just realised it. Some bosses said dunno what department from dunno what stat board came, saw Geylang lights are flashy so ordered everyone to remove the LED lights.

The whole place seems pretty dull

Now Geylang doesnt seem like a Red light district, seems more like a White light district

Heard can only use white or warm lights. Cannot use pink or blinking lights. Guess all have to change.

Heard the authorities wanted to them to attract less attention, ita the same move like the cigg package... all standardise... i cant even tell the diff between diff brands if i dont read the labels

hahaha, this is amusing, really become white light district. Lose all the glamour and fun.

But to think of it, maybe very soon all massage parlours in singapore also gotta tear down the LED lights already. then our neighbourhood also become less flashy.

Actually I prefer these lights, make the place less dull

imagine if you walk along your neighbourhood shops, you see those flashy neon lights from massage parlour, made the place not so quiet. Hope the same will not happen to the massage parlours
