The bugger got into affairs with a PRC woman in China. He was posted there to work and, he set up a family there. His wife file for divorce and the strange things. She did not request much from him. Their 2 childrens in their 20s also did not ask $ from him. What happen?

I guess. Fight PRC with PRC. His ex wife is afraid of his PRC family in China. China people are known to be under world people. In HK and PRC movies. His ex dont wish for troubles from his PRC family. Taking into consideration she is a citizen here and her family in China. She was afraid her ex hubby family go after her family there.

This man is a bad man who knew, and understood PRC weakness. GODS as our weakness we do the right things. Karma will hit him 1 day.

recently my colleague's wife gave birth to a singaporean male baby.

most of the thai / viet wives, will not contest the divorce unless they plan to remain in sg permanently post-divorce (to dunno work as what).
because first, they need to have the money to hire a lawyer.
second, they dont know sg law well to know much about women's charter and that its not a singaporean's charter.
third, they may not know english well enough to understand and fight the case in english.
I have seen half the cases where the wife just ran back to her own country and never hear from them ever again. Dont even bother to contest the divorce.

if the foreign wife has no singaporean child, the singaporean husband can stop sponsoring her pass here (unless she already PR) and she wont be able to stay here to go about contesting the divorce in sg courts. Unless she knows the court session dates and fly in just to attend court every single time.

these are only my assumptions and from what i heard. Please dont take it as professional advice.

Cos in my life, seems like fortune favours the bold - whether they do the right thing or not - while those that follow the law seem to have the shorter end of the stick?

Personally I find PRC women very appealing but most of them have this certain attitude. PRC men seem ok to me though.

Or, maybe, once again, is because I am mixing with the wrong company?
