old - winsor food court, bcs mall, nagoya mall, hotel hadapan bahru canteen indomee goreng

new - plenty of grab service, fame spa, j8 food court

fame spa not bad, sauna overlooking outdoor pool, place was clean, massuess quite chio, forgot to ask what her tag number, she requested full service 800k extra, didnt opt for it. total paid 3xx k and another 100k tip. hj is inclided in package.

visited happy8 joint, took girl overnight 1.2j overall not that good.

j8 foodcourt was nice, quite new, food not bad.

overall enjoyable trip.

No problem, Batam has many similar food court like Windsor, that are just round the corner. So no need to go too far away. There is Utama food court, Lovely food court, J8 etc to choose from. Oh wait, Tiger beer sale girl...usually...not very pretty,hehehe...

(Of course, of course...you went for the beer and NOT the ladies,hehehe...i swear, i believe you)

There is no explanation to that part, hence many guys would be "convinced" to take on other brands of beer,especially those from the prettier beer ladies.

With the S$28 coupons, everyday go Batam also can,hehehe... but must be on weekdays and not weekends. Remember to call Horizon for reservation when using the coupons to cut back on the queuing,hehehe...

i will share my new findings on the S$37 orange ferry tickets which is also a good buy.

I think many of my friends will be interested,hehehe...take note of the expiry date. I bought this on Sept 2019 and it expires 29 Feb 2020,6 months due to expiring. And more importantly, can be use on both weekends and weekdays with all tax inclusive.

(take note the 2-way ticket expiry date)

I "bought" one,hehehe...just in case my Batam trip falls on weekends (i didnt pay for it anyway) from anytime now till next year Feb 2020.

Nowaday going to Batam is like going to anywhere within Singapore. I saw so many aunties and uncles on the queue at Harbour Bay ferry terminals. Out of 10 people i see there on my September Batam trip, about 5.5 were elderly aunties,hehehe...and with their trolley-ed luggage bag fully packed to its max.

When buying online, please be aware of scams similar to the likes of the 2 kind of coupon/ticket below :

Notice the ink in blue, those red ink could have been "rub off". So one may have a chance to buy the "already expired" coupons.

2 days ago, got seller/s even start giving away free coupons becos they couldnt sell it off on time and the expiry date is on 30th Sept 2019(which expires tomorrow). There's no takers as yet,hehehe...and i am not interested. If one is interested, can always go get those from that seller and then walk to Horizon Ferry counter at Harbour front, pay S$28 to them to get a Horizon open ticket that expires on 31st Oct 2019. Meaning collect the free Horizon coupon that expires on 30th Sept 2019, go Horizon Counter in Harbour Front, pay S$28 to get an open ticket that expires on 31st Oct 2019. But next month Oct, die die need to go Batam or the open ticket/s will be forfeited.

(there was also one that give away free coupons that expires Oct 2019 too)

Coupons should not cost MORE than S$3 each (max is S$4, for noobs) or it will be pretty much not-worth-the-price/effort from my perspective. I counted in the time cost and transport cost to go collect them too. I bought mine at S$2 to S$2.50, but most of which is given to me by my uncle who now resides in Tanjong Pinang most of the time.

Walk-in to Horizonfast Counter, open ticket still retailing at S$48 nett. Business class still at S$12 nett,hehehe...

Above were some experience on my buying and selling, and my encounter in the online market place to share here.

Bayerina at Harbour Bay used to be around S$40k to S$47k, it is now at a flat rate of between S$40k to S$42.5k,hehehe...and Citra Plaza opposite Formosa Residence were advertised at 400 juta rupiah recently on September 2019 (i think i got the brochure somewhere),hehehe...previously was around 480 juta.

I am still keeping tabs on the apartment pricing as i type. Had a feeling if this bill is passed down in their parliament, Indonesia is likely to have some small economic recession impact. Less investor will step in to do business ,hotels closing down, foreign investors start withdrawing from the country etc etc.

Hmm...what if one day Jokowi is no longer the president (no if, but when...) This kind of Indonesia law sets me thinking again.

Grab Indonesia has a rental option now, from 250k for 4hrs to 500k for 12hrs. Quite reasonable and no need to worry about getting fleeced by the roadside drivers...

Good information above which i keeps a record on, so that i can make comparison with others,hehehe...a good value too, comparing with the "norm" below:

...so that i can find the best out of the best (or the least priced,hehehe..). Those above were probably considered the Normal price for 10 hours booking. There are bound to be lower priced ones around, say S$40 to S$45.

So i used to budget it out myself, if i am going to spend more than S$30 in a day for transport in Batam, i shall use the 8 or 10 hours transport booking instead, otherwise it isnt of much value at all. Even especially so if one is running solo,hehehe...
