Bro Shrouded, thanks for your stories and experiences and like many Bros here, I chanced upon this thread and it took my breath away (as well as attention on other threads, I actually stopped reading other threads these 3 days) and finished till page 98 in 3 days.

Though it is a few days to me, but it’s almost a decade of your life experiences that you are sharing, many happy and unbelievable memories while seem quite a lot of pain, during these last 2 years.

I cannot give any proper or good advise, and I hope you will be able to get through this difficult period soon, all the best and hope you will be able to continue, when you have good updates to share with us, soon.

I guess sometimes life is really stranger than fiction.

Here's an update of what's been happening so far up until December.

I'm still being ghosted by Jasmine. Her line is still engaged/busy. Whatsapp messages only get a single tick. Oh well.

Alicia does check in on me every now and then just to see how I'm doing. Apparently she's still living with Jasmine. Apparently the husband is already out of the picture. Somehow or another there wasn't a need to wait for the separation period due to the abuse or something and she's finalizing her divorce. Maybe there's some hope left for me. But I guess that's highly unlikely since I've been blocked.

Ann, as expected, has not contacted me at all. Alicia said she's doing fine too, but didn't go into much details.

Strangely enough, I've been meeting Alan more often. We caught up over suppers, strangely even went cycling as well. Maybe it was Alicia who got him to "entertain" me or something.

I never contacted Amanda and neither did she. According to Alan, she found a boyfriend and was rarely at home these days anyway.

On the job front, things were sort of looking up. I was sort of promoted to senior executive in December, pending a probationary period of course. So no further increment until I'm "confirmed". Bonus was surprising though. I was only expecting the AWS, but I got a 0.5 month discretionary bonus as well.

My weekly sessions with Shirlyn continued, with Rebecca sometimes coming in to "learn". I'm not sure what she was actually learning as she was more interested to know if I fucked Jasmine or not. Obviously this pissed off Shirlyn, but somehow she still needed her to sit in every now and then.

It was really nice actually chatting with someone though, sharing my problems, having her listen, and ordering in dinner that was charged to the company when the sessions lasted past official working hours.

In case anyone is wondering, no we didn't have sex. Our relationship was purely professional. We did actually go out for drinks once after an extended "counselling" and she got really high and slightly clingy, but I sent her home without doing anything other than accidentally brushing against her chest as I helped her to her house. I didn't drink much anyway, only had one drink as I was driving. Didn't seem right to take advantage of my manager. It might get me fired.

I wondered why my other manager Helen didn't really give a shit about me, even though I was technically under her department as well. Guess I was probably doing my jobscope under her department well enough not for her to interfere. She did ask me how Ann was, but I really couldn't give her a proper answer so she left it as that.

As for Rebecca, she was her usual flirty self. Not just with me, but with any other guy in the office, of which there were few, other than me, the boss and the accounts guy. She started hanging out with me at the smoking point for whatever reason. I didn't know if she really smoked, or just wanted to get closer to me. I did notice she started dressing sexier, with lower cut tops, and tighter bottoms, as though she was trying to attract somebody's attention. I lost count of the number of times I saw her cleavage in the past few months.

Sometimes I wondered if I would be tempted by her, given her history after all. The video on the laptop was a pretty good indication of her sex drive anyway. But somehow I was not interested at all. Not yet anyway.

But I didn't even know who or what else I was waiting for. It's pretty obvious Jasmine wasn't coming back. So for now I guess I just needed to fulfil my physical needs.

I met Felicia pretty often though, for obvious reasons. She wanted sex, and I was a convenient option. It was like we reverted back to being friends with benefits again. It usually happened when she had to come back to the office, usually once a week or every 2 weeks and we'd meet up after work, either going to a hotel if there were rooms available, or just having a quickie in the car at some random MSCP near her place.

I suppose this was what life was going to be for the foreseeable future.

Until something happened on the last day of 2021.
