Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

insightful comments fm the LFC boards...

The problems, in my opinion, are:

1- We lack enough quality

2- We lack the belief to win games, and by not winning games we are losing belief.

3- Kenny has been stubborn with his selections (I'm not sure how much difference this would have made as its impossible to predict, but I feel logic would have chosen differently).

4- Teams do not fear us. Linking with my second point, we put more pressure on ourselves with every poor performance.

Goals change games and outcomes along with perceptions.

If we had taken some of our upteen chances in most of the games this season we'd have a lot more points and our performances wouldn't be under the microscope like they are now.

We HAVE played well this season and looked good attacking.

But we haven't scored and dropped points as a result.

So now the reality is that we're lacking in confidence and some players are hiding or not performing to previous expected levels.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Andy Carrol is total flop, can't shoot well, often out of position and not deadly in his headers (even though so tall)

If not for Reina, the score could easily been LIV 0 - Swansea 2 Both goalies were excellent.

What a let down.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

I am totally speecheless and disappointed with lat nite's game . We had 25 shots on the target but none ended in a goal . As I said b4 our players need a lot of target practise . Maybe we should change the football shoes our players are wearing.

Agreed AC and Henderson are the biggest letdown so far this season. Though we still remain unbeaten at home. But dropping 2 points against a much lower team is a no no . How are we going to secure that 4th spot ?

Seriously we need good striker and a playmaker in Liverpool soon. Dam I lost money on last nite's game.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Simply shocking reason....its the same problem always, they should be beating the smaller teams to get more points but end up making things difficult for themselves each time..

LFC is currently talking to someone who fits both roles perfectly........ Carlos Tevez

The deal can be finalised if Kia Joobacharan will stop being so greedy and agree to reduce Tevez's wages........ Mancini is very happy to release Tevez.

I can't understand why Kuyt is not getting more playing time. Even Maxi is better than Henderson, at least he scores loads of goals when he comes on.

AC is likely to be the flop of the season. Swap him with Tevez, though I don't think that Man City wants him. Stoke would be very interested though...

Birmingham wants AC on loan........ their manager Chris Houghton was the one who groomed AC and would gladly take him under his wings again.

KD is naturally biased against foreigners....... has been from long ago even during his playing days....... so I think he would rather field a British player rather than a foreigner if he has to choose between them.

That's something new.

I thought he bought British because they would immediately adapt to the league. I think when the games comes fast and furious during Dec and Jan, the team would be in a better position to cope than most other teams as they are already used to the weather and playing games every 3 days. Of course, the other reason is the well known British Bulldog tenacity.
