There are Hatyai maps easily available. Knowing the road names does not equate to knowing everything. I am not entirely familiar with the coverage of the See Kim Yong farms area. Thus asking for advise. If you feel that this is a stupid question. Then I have nothing to say.

So back to the See Kim Yong farms area discussion again. I can't seem to find much farms around the Hatyai Palace Hotel vicinity. I only found 2 (Andrew Karaoke and J.K. Pub) during a weekday mid afternoon as reported in my FR. Did I miss anything out? Would appreciate if anyone can recommend and provide more Karaoke farm names.

Hi Bros out there,
Anyone can give good advice as to whether it's better to visit Danok or Hatyai, haven't been there for a while and plan to go up for a short trip soon. Thanks.

HDY is a better all rounder sin city for those on a budget.
Of course even for those without a budget problem, HDY proves to be a wonder.

I suggest u skip Danok and head straight for HDY.
U can get almost everything here.

most of the times the hotel will hang on to ur passports until u depart.
so just leave about $100 sing with the safe along with ur wallet.
U never ever need ur wallet with ur IC and ezlink cards in HDY.

after that u find it easier to navigate around HDY without a map.
anyway not easy to get lost within central HDY.

If u dun see a hotel within 10 mins of walking any directions, u are too far away liao !

Thanks, I thought so too, easier to move around Hatyai since I have been there before. Only thing was that I met one of the "old timers" and he remarked that Hatyai is now a "cowboy town" and most of the puyings have migrated to Danok. Thanks again!

I think Danok is more of cowboy town.

HDY is more like Krung Thep of the South but much cheaper.
