Yes I juz did one 9 temple run yesterday......... Usually I head to Nakhon Pathom or Ayutthaya n in BKK for temple visits if my trip in BKK is short............ Nakhon Pathom can visit Wat Bang Phra, Wat Sisathong, Wat Pailom, Wat Pathom Chedi, Wat Rai Khing, Wat Sam Ngam..........Ayutthaya can visit Wat Natangyai, Wat Natangnok, Wat Phra Kao........... BKK can go Wat Hualampong, Wat Phra Keaw, Wat Intrawas, Wat Rakang, Wat Nak Prok, Wat Suthat.............

Famous rahu temple......... Good point to start......... Since u intending to visit Wat Sisathong u can do a 9 temple run in Nakhon Pathom...........

Yup.... Planning to rent a car to do 9 temples visit.... Starting from Wat Srisathong, follow by Wat Mahathat, Ayutthaya, follow by Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, Kanchaburi... only have 3 in my mind currently.....

I'm might be wrong, but usually the thais will take days to complete 9 temples run..... They will visit different province for each temple....

Can share which temples to go in Bangkok for the 9 temples run? Because bro treemon provided a incomplete one. I would like to make one if possible in Bangkok since I can't find time to make at Ayuthaya or other provinces. Many thanks. Hope it's not off topic.

Normally if u are interested to visit temples, u will visit most of the temple in the same district or province to save time in travelling. As mentioned by others, in a province there are a lot of temples to visit.... no point travel from 1 province to another.

There are a lot in BKK....from my mind now, Wat Mahatat, Wat arun, Wat rakang, Wat sisaket, Wat Intharawihan, Wat Phra keow, Wat Boworn, Wat Kalayanamit, Wat Pho, Wat Suthat, Wat Traimit, Wat Benja, Wat Prayoon, Wat Nhakpok, Wat Sankachai, Wat Huay Kwang, Wat Latphrao, Wat Guan yin... so many many many.....

Yes as mentioned by naemlo......... The objective of 9 temple run is to be completed within the day.......... Usually if u visit temples in the same province, it will take almost a full day depending how long u spend in each temple............. For me, i start early 0700 to give alms at the local market n visit my first temple at around 0830.......... I usually returned BKK in the evening..........

So there is no fixed temples to go for the specific temple run then? U can just go any 9 temples situated in Bkk? Is that u trying to say? I always thought u must follow in sequence first one then second one in order to complete the so called 9 temples in a day.

It's so much easier making massage parlors runs and agogo bars run since they are so near to each other.

Yes. If travel from Bkk to other province. U have to make the journey as early as 6am to reach the province and start at the first temple by 8am. Usually ends by late afternoon at 3pm and thereafter proceed back to Bangkok. Very tired but fulfilling.

No sequence... just plan your route beforehand.
