That is true but sometimes we confuse what is love to what is responsibility...towards the end of my first marriage before we got divorced, we try counselling and in the end, I never knew that what i thought was love, i found out i was only playing out my role of a provider out of a sense of responsibility..

Maybe this is called the "bar keeper syndrome", it's like you can share a lot of intimate details with a total stranger (eg. the bar keep) that you will not normally share with your people you know.
