After reading about Yoshiwara (吉原), decided to take a look. The name has been associated with pros since 17th century.
Anyway decided to walk from Minowa (三ノ輪), was a long walk, maybe Iriya (入谷) would be nearer. Immediately recognized the place when u see many guys (pimps) standing outside buildings. While wondering which one to try out, I was approached by one of them. I asked him if gaijin (外人) is ok. He led me into the shop and asked me to wait while he checked. He called the girl whom he recommended to ask if she was willing to take a gaijin. He got positive answer. And the picture he showed me was pretty. Next he mentioned that the price was 50,000 yen for 90 minutes. I decided to check out other shops ... Went to another shop, a young pimp quoted me 70,000 yen. What the hell! But just told them, takai (expensive) and went off. But so far most of them are alright if you decline, and thank you the usual japanese way. Then came to another one, the japanese rate was 28,000 yen for 100 minutes. The pimp said that they can accept gaijin for additional 10,000 yen. And he mentioned this is common around the area. Was running late for an appointment, just thought might as well ... At this point, just want to say this was not a fantastic sexperience, in case you have been reading along ... writing here to give some bros what to expect ... as I do not speak too good japanese as well ... Anyway, went up to 2nd floor, took a seat. Next was to make payment. I think best mode to pay is still cash. Some clubs in japan don't even take their own JCB. Then led me to an inner room, waiting area, where they served u drink and hot tower. Here, I waited about 10-15 minutes. And finally led me out another door, and here u can see a row of rooms with pairs of male and highs outside each room.

Gaijin issue seems to be fairly significant. Anyway I got a very small size gal, 22 year old. In this area, girls must be more than 20 year old to work. She seems a bit "worried" or "wary" serving a gaijin, even though I can getaway as a japanese.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I know zero Japanese so always get rejected. Even for those that is gaijin friendly you'll have to pay an exorbitant fee. Even at ¥38,000/S$585. It's still too expensive for me.  I'll be in Tokyo end of August. Hope to meet you up for coffee. I've already touched base with bro Necro.

Hi All,
Just to add. One of the more probable chain soapland you can try is the Dream group chain. ??????????::??????DREAMGROUP I tried the Tokyo Yume MorningStar a few times and they are Ganji friendly but you also need to convince them that you know a bit of Japanese and the rules. The pricing i recalled paying is around Y 20k. The have a time base where its cheaper at certain time and more expensive at peak hour i.e. night. I would usually go around 4-6pm so as not to wait and its cheaper. There's a album where you can see all the gals photos but they will tell you who's working that day and which gals will serve Ganji there. Prices are all in. Full works and unlimited shots for the hour. Depends on your luck you may get some not so good looking gals who serve Ganji and those great looking ones are Japanese only. Be vary that some of the pictures they use could be a bit old so there maybe a few years difference + without make up. They will give you a "loyalty" card where they will stamp for each visit. This is useful as the next time you go there they will see your visits and trust you more and may offer you better gals. Some of these gals have business cards and they will give you so that you can book them again for your next visit.
