please help. i will be in sha for two nights on a biz trip and need to entertain a client. need to find a ktv with take-out. i read thru 90+ threads and identified a few ktvs with decent reviews:

tien shan ren jian
galaxy disco
golden magnolia
jin she nian dai
wan zhi qian hong

i know galaxy but do not know where the rest are. can you bros help me out and point me to where the above ktvs are?

As per what u mentioned here, all the joints comes with 'take aways' gals...
For a better environment and mre assured noight out with your guest which u will be entertaining with, try calling my usual joint at Merry (Mei Li Yuan) Hotel, 2nd level along Yan An Road, junction of Zheng Ning Road. Called Mama-san, Yuan Yuan ( mobile: 1360 1703048) in advance to book for a room. The gals will e available at 2000hrs onwards. Pick your choice but do prompt the mamasan in advance u want 'take aways' gals prior to mamasan leading the gals into the rooom for u all to choose & pick. ( Take away cost is at RMB 1,500 per gal/per night)
Room charges is average at RMB 1,800 for 6-8 pax, includes all fruits palette, mineral water, towel). Liquor per bottle (i.e. Chivas is at RMB 1,200 per bottle). Tips is at RMB 300 per GRO gal and for mamasan as well. Waitresses and all other service staff is at RMB 200 per pax.

thanks for the useful information. ended up going to tieng shang ren jian last night. the directions in the previous thread was right on. no problems finding the place especially because it was the brightest building in the area.

i must say, i was impressed with the place. the lobby was magnificent and the rooms large and comfortable. great place to entertain. but the place was crowded and the selection of girls was so so (probably because i asked for english speaking girls for my client). room charge was 1280. as this was my first visit, i tipped the mama 500 to build some goodwill for my follow up visit this evening. hopefully she wil save some better crop for us.

Tipping her 500 is a mistake. You should ask for her number to call ahead for bookings which help to her monthly quota. She wil appreciate that.
Check with the bros before you go around spoiling market.

I think you have to go find out yourself! It is real trilling.
Some resturant have small rooms where you can get chicks to company you for dinner and later go KTV. Tips is less than RMB300
Ask the local cab to take you to a by the river pubs area where you can get pick ups.
Can't remember the name of the place as I am too damn pissed! But only one place by the river where there are lots of pubs.

A... anyway to share the story why you so pissed over there? so that I can take note about it.
