i am afriad there maybe so kelong thingy going on for liverpool vs spurs mtach and we may not get the 3 points against them.
i.e. man u has been on form and arsenal losing form but when they met, arsenal won.
liverpool vs spurs maybe same case. with key player in gareth bale injured, playong at anfield, it looks more likely that liverpool has the upper hand on this match... it may not turn out to br the case... finger cross
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Just tinking aloud here:
1. wad if SG comes back and de team's performance drops?
2. given current squad's chemistry & performance (where it's safe to say is greater than the sum of its parts), who should we drop to put SG in?
3. Wad if another club comes in with UKP30M for SG? Should we sell? Head vs heart?
4. when martin kelly comes back from injury, do we drop flanagan? who do u tink is better?
5. which position and who do u tink we should buy in the summer? another striker (we have carroll coming back)? another midfieler (we have gerrard coming back)? another defender (we have kelly coming back with flanagan doing well)? whoever we buy, we have to sacrifice someone from the team and even if this person is "world calss" status, doesn't mean he will fit into the team (ask chelsea and man city). For me, my main concern is not to lose reina in the summer. Currently our squad, though not many - if any - dat are "world class" but they gel well and playing with passion and spirit. I m afraid to spoil the balance. Took us a long time to get here.

i think we need 1 or 2 central defenders. Skrtel and Agger are injury prone. Carra and Kyrgi are getting old and slow. I think we need another tall striker plus the return of Pacheco. With Carroll out, we have no height and bulk in the box. We need 2 good wingers. If Kuyt is injured, right wing won't be so strong. Flanagan is left back and Kelly is right back, isn't it? Bring back Insua. May not need to sell Gerrard but he shouldn't be guaranteed a starting place anymore.

Not impossible but I don't think so. SG has been one of our most outstanding performers on the pitch for the last couple of years...
2. given current squad's chemistry & performance (where it's safe to say is greater than the sum of its parts), who should we drop to put SG in?
My guess would be Maxi...
3. Wad if another club comes in with UKP30M for SG? Should we sell? Head vs heart?
Nope. Don't think KD will ever sell him.
4. when martin kelly comes back from injury, do we drop flanagan? who do u tink is better?
Drop Flanagan for Kelly.

I don't think we will lose Reina. He has stated he wants to stay on at Liverpool. We definitely need another striker and probably another 2 wingers at the very least...
Liverpool are playing well right now and the youngsters who have come in are doing really well but if you look at Arsenal, you will see that youngsters tend to burn out after a long season and you can't maintain that level of performance if you do not have a strong bench.

You know Stevie wont fetch 30m now heheh but I think we must do the right thing - he stayed with us when we were down and we should repay the faith.
I think a starting position must depend on current form. The first XI has certainly earned their right to be there. Look at Berbatov at Scum, Arshavin at Arsenal and Torres at Chelsea. Reputations should not matter. Cole is on the bench anyhow and has become our 5 minute man

Agree with the need to get central defenders but finding another carra or hyypia would be a very diificult task.
As for the rest of your suggestions, it would seem we are buying reserve players right (i.e. to cover carroll and kuyt)? note i am NOT disagreeing. the 2 wingers u're proposing is not first XI standard right? Actually if can have a good right back from our own squad, can move johnson up to right winger. He doesn't defend so well anyway. So in other words, we should keep more or less our current first team and just buy some backup? Or should we buy - for example - kaka? benzema?
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Suarez was simply brilliant.. He is my MoM thou Maxi scoring a hat-trick.
Finally we have a pacy attacker who loves to run at defenders..
Maxi is at his best form with us, 2 hat-trick in 3 games, tat's something extraordinary...
Want to mention Lucas too, brilliant balls for the first 2 goals...

Defend - Need a left back for first XI, a central defender as understudy to Carra.
Midfield - left and right wingers
Attack - not required (already have carrol, suarez and kuyt)
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
a lot of positions need covers or replacements unless there are ready youths coming up.
praying that K.G. will still be around when the new season starts.
we will be a force again with him at the helm.

why look for a central defender when we can convert SG to that position,i think he will be excellent in that position,i don t think he s got the legs for midfield now but i m sure we can get 2 or 3 seasons bringing him back to defence, remember he strated as a right back for pool.we shd get insua back as well.

Forget Insua bro, Flanagan is as good on the left as the right. Kelly too.
City have confirmed their Top 4 position - Crouch did us no favours again.

deep in the hearts of many Pool fans, 5th is already an achievement. 4th placing will be some kinda fluke result, juz like fantacising how manure's goin to surrender the title to chelski with 2 games to go.
