Dear Esteem Humble Bros, I am good anytime on 11th onwards, to any KTVs, Sauna or Dinners as long as it is within my limited budget as I am just a lowly paid salaried old man. When I was in SH, I can't sleep almost every nite, too stressed out with work I guess!
I am no longer a Alcohol guy (can't drink much nowadays), dun play wild in KTV, but just abit tiko in Sauna (the gal must tiko me 1st before I tiko back), I loved massages. As age catches up, I only like to chill out with some nice companionship or Meimeis after a hard day's work in SH, nothing fancy. I am staying in SH every month for 10 to 20 days (the most).

Aiyo bro... don't be so humble lah... I used to be like you staying in Shanghai but I stop doing that few years ago.. I only stay in Shanghai 2 -3 days in a month as I do lots of cities hoping in China on monthly basis. Looking forward to party with you guys.. next possible date is on Oct 15th.

Can existing SIM card (or retaining the number but change SIM card at the Telco) be converted to such autoroam SIM card?
Does the normal top-up card fees covers such autoroam charges or we must purchase some other kind/type of top-card cards?

Can, you need to talk to the operator and they will ask u to add mim $$ value to it and they will activate the roaming for u.
Last time min RMB 200, dont know value now
Many thanks Bro for your kind information, just called China Mobile awhile ago, no used topping up any value. The SIM card must be used for at least 3 months before they can consider activating the International Auto-Roaming services. This is what they said!

- just buy any SIM card off the street. To roam, u must register with ur passport.

- call 10086 to check. Like i said, u must go to counter to register with passport.

- normal card covers autoroam, but it will probably not be enuf. After u register, to activate roaming, u must hv min RMB600 credit in the card. Each activation only allows u to roam 30 days.

besides all of the above, it is better to get a local shanghainess or company to register a post-paid card for u. Then u can include whatever services u wan, no need to call to activate.
