However, Zunika Ahmad was convicted under the Children and Young Persons Act for committing an obscene act with the victim in February 2012. She was sentenced to eight months' jail; she could have been jailed up to five years and/or fined up to S$10,000.

In a landmark judgment on the six charges for which Zunika was acquitted, Justice Kan Ting Chiu said the particular section of the law under which she was charged “does not cover women as offenders”.

Zunika had pleaded guilty in December last year to six counts under section 376A(1)(b) of the Penal Code for sexually assaulting the young girl using a sex toy. Section 376A(1)(b) criminalises the sexual penetration of a minor “with a part of A’s body (other than A’s penis) or anything else”.

Both the prosecution, led by Deputy Public Prosecutors John Lu and Dwayne Lum, and Zunika's lawyer, Ms N Sudha Nair, had agreed that a woman could be charged under section 376A(1)(b) after studying the Interpretation Act.

But Justice Kan, noting that the issue of whether a woman can be charged under section 376A had not been decided before, said: "The charges cannot stand even after (Zunika) had pleaded guilty to them.

“The reference to a person who has a penis cannot be construed to include a woman without doing violence to common sense and anatomy”, he added, noting that the law is clearly not gender-neutral and that “we should be slow to suggest or infer the contrary.”

happen recently~ not tat jialat but i feel bad..


was at town area having lunch with my group of friend..

as usual all pack with people not enough tables..

there is 5 of us 3 ladies 2 man.. we finally found a table with 4 chairs..

i notice tat 2 table away there is a lady late 20s in blue dress average looking she was eating fish soup with rice drinking Oo Loong tea!

im in formal blue long sleeve shirt, black pants and shiny leather shoe.

our eyes locked for a good 5 second and i walk towards her i was folding up my sleeves!(stylo milo pattern)

once i reach her table.

Me: Hi Miss! are you alone?
Miss: erm~ well.. yes!(with a smile)
Me: well!!! thank you!(with a wider smile)

drag a chair towards my table...

people at the next table was laughing.. i feel bad.. her face look so stunned!

after putting the chair at my table my friends all laugh and say im very bastard.. so i walk up to her again got her number and pass to my friend who are single for all his life..

next time look for chair please take note!!

This reminds me of a time that I was looking for a seat at Ikea Alexandra. I ended up sharing a seat with a mum and her 2 kids. The mum ,IMO, isn't bad looking and she instructed her kids to call me uncle! (I'm not that old c'mon ) I managed to chat with her before they left.

Anyway because I was already set to move to Australia, so I didn't get her number. I sometimes wish I was single so that I can get their nubvers.

Bro, i working in town area lah. But normally ppl will ask if the seat is taken or anybody sitting there..etc. and not whether if the person is alone.

Maybe it's really pure coincident lor.....
