CM is very cold at night. So cold that I'm avoiding the clubs and alcohol.

However during the day, its ok. The sun can still be quite harsh. Hence, u can still wear T-shirt. But come night time, the temperature dips abruptly. I've been sleeping without the aircon for the past 2 nights with all the windows closed.

i just flew over from bkk which is 19 deg. CM is worse. (cold i meant)

Swede accuses karaoke parlour of rip-off.

A Swedish businessman lodged a complaint against a Chiang Mai karaoke parlour for alleged overcharging yesterday.
He said he ordered just five small bottles of beer and sang some songs with female staff for a few hours but ended up being charged over Bt50,000.

The 49-year-old foreigner said more than 10 men surrounded him when he offered Bt3,000 to clear the bill at 5am. He was held against his will for two hours during which the staff used his credit card to withdraw cash.

"I returned to my hotel and then consulted my friends. They advised me to go to the police," the Swede said at the Muang Chiang Mai Police Station.

Police say they are investigating the case.

Centara Duangtawan Hotel will be a good choice......in night market area where all the bars & thai massage are around the corner.

Which part of CNX na Pii. I went to view at niman soi 6, condo name called Nimamana, 80k per square feet. Will complete 1q of next year na. Location sibeh good, as MAYA going to open soon, beside than kad suan kaew.

I move to landed house near Promenada mall.....actually still prefer landed house to condo for the higher ceiling and bigger space with garden.

For condo I bought some at my hip condo behind big C extra & the future Platinum Chiangmai at around 52k/sqm, will complete end of this year....42sqm for around 2.2 million.

Niman area condo is expensive like in Chang klan area around 80-100k/sqm, but location is the reason for the price.....but 80k for 42 or 50 sqm will be around 4 million........I will prefer to stay at landed 2 storey house 200sqm for around 4.5 million near Promenda mall
