Colleague wanted to go foot message. Went to this place called 老地方Lao Di Fang along 115 hao 栖霞路 Xi Xia Lu.

Had foot message. Then the mid-late 20s MM (dressed in those tight skirt one) recommended message (dunno 油压you ya or 指压zhi ya). Ok lah, on lah. Went to another room with attached shower. Then MM asked you alone in SH ah, where is your wifey these type of questions. Knew what is coming liao. At the end she offered to shoot the aeroplane for 1 red mao zi dong. However I was a good boy and did not contributed to her extra income.

Foot message for 2 persons was about 300+ (120 minutes, I think forget liao).

My friend brought me to 金色阳光虹古路 last wednesday.. I have not been there for quiet a while but I am quiet pleasantly surprise by the quality of the gal.. above average. This is cat Rmb 300.

another friend brought me to 唐会 for a drink on last tuesday... The PR there is also not that bad. Tip is Rmb 300.

I went to 官邸 and also was pleasantly surprise the PR is fun to play and nice to look...tip is also Rmb 300.

-Love Hotel (only in the elevator written!) turn right at the entrance of Sky Fortune Sauna, walk about 30 meters and you see a sign - (probably it says Sauna, but I can't read it and 9 th floor). This place is quite famous for insiders of China - it provides soap and bath service in the room - price was RMB800, more selection of girls and they are pretty but follow the same procedure which is quite nice but it gets boring if you do it a 2nd and a 3rd time so I guess you need to take charge. I will try it out again.

-1856 Sauna at Nanjing Xi Lu (close to Jing An temple). This place is behind the Shanghai No. 1 restaurant (just a name). You tell the guy at bottom of the elevator to have a massage and he will guide you up to the 4th floor which is gaming center, then you walk through the gaming center where a guy will open a big door to the 5th floor. Price RMB750 - again you can get the soap and bath experience - quite nice. They actually show you a Japanese porn the whole time and at the beginning the girl want to provide you with a striptease dance. Not bad even a little bit more expensive but a lot of extras and very safe I would safe because you are ushered there and they have locks everywhere in order to have time for the police to arrive.

-Heting at Siping Lu 777. Nice manager who speaks good English - Good service but too many people and a little bit far away for me.

-999 at Shanghai Stadium - a lot of written - I checked it out once - very crowded - but definitely good service - even the girl said to me 'oh lauwei and told me she doesn't like them much'.

-Happy Garden Sauna - cost is RMB780 - it's quite expensive, crowded and the girls I received were quite big. They gave a good normal massage though. The manager (owner) is from Hong Kong quite arrogant. There are two places one at the intersection yan an lu/fanyu lu (next to the Howard Johnson Suite) hotel, the other at tongren lu next to Malone's (famous pub in Shanghai).

Thanks again for all your contribution and let me know if you like to hit the streets one time, maybe I can join you. I would like to learn more about the great Shanghai undercover life. Also KTV would be interesting to experience once but it needs to be at a reasonable price.

I know that the police are stepping up their raids. The KTV next to the HFJ I normally go to was raided and some girls dumped into the police van. The raids affected the mood for the HFJ as well, so they had an early night then.

HFJ = Hanging Flower Joint 花场

It's a lounge with overpriced drinks, where singers would be rostered to sing on stage (some of them cannot sing but are pretty enough to get plenty of support). Patrons show their support by hanging "flowers" for their performance (a form of tips, since they are not supposed to be tipped). The singers will sit, drink and chat with their customers (and the singers sure can drink!).

And since everything takes place out in an open lounge, there is less hanky-panky involved, compared to a KTV bar.
