Bro; April, 2014 is 7 months away leh! So KIASU meh? You really lived up to a typical Sillyporean's name of being really KIASU. All advice to you now will be in vain. I am not pouring cold water on your trip but really? Who knows? The central garmen (GOD Forbid!) might sweep clean this town like Zhuhai or the prices may be increased further after the next CNY. Again, who knows? By the way, you travel period is during the Canton Fair (Starts mid-April) period. Will be a pack with people time to be there. Hotels will cost a bit more and KTVs' will be full to the brim.
IMHO - All you need to do is to monitor the situation in this and other forums about this place. I think I am the only one who has and will answer your question since your trip is not on till seven months from now.

If I may, I would like to discuss, what in my opinion, are the specifics of good mongering practices in Chang Ping (and indeed elsewhere). I fully realize that this topic may get under the skin of some readers here, but I ask for your forbearance and hope that you will instead discuss it calmly and rationally - especially if you find anything that you think wrong/you do not agree with. Hopefully such a discussion will open the eyes of some readers here and that it will lead to a market place that is more to OUR advantage instead of how things are rapidly developing into in CP these days.
Yes, of course the biggest contributors to the present lop-sidedness of the market are the local PRC clients who are starting to go to CP as they now no longer feel that the place is too low-class for them - with the opening up of so many vast and luxurious hotels and KTV’s. But that is something that is beyond the scope of foreign boards such as this PLUS the fact that most KTV gals, although they appreciate the custom, nonetheless do not favor locals as they’re just too rough and demanding. So I’ll not venture into this facet of the discussion.
The first thing that I would like for you to consider is the fact that CP KTV’s are nowadays no longer staffed with relatively naïve country bumpkins who in the past just closed their eyes, worked hard and ASAP get out of “the life” – a quite common phenomenon in the past when jobs and opportunities for females in China were very limited. Girls in the past were very obedient and scared of the repercussions and fines if they EVER dared to get the customer angry or unsatisfied. NO LONGER! Nowadays, jobs and opportunities are relatively plentiful and girls who still opt to become hookers do so quite professionally and methodically. The girls nowadays are more likely to be true professional, accomplished courtesans – who eat us amateur mongers alive! On top of everything else, the fact that KTV’s are all clamoring to get girls to work for them works to the advantage of these girls who no longer fear retributions, punishment or even the instructions of their mommies/management. They just blithely ignore any strictures which in the past had been strictly enforced and raise their middle fingers anytime anybody try to rein them in. Sad but true; they’re truly out of control these days.
OK, the specifics as to what I hope you guys will also subscribe to/practice:
- Sitting two or multiple girls – don’t do this! Yes, in the past it WAS great to have girls competing for your customs for the rest of the night. But these days, being that there IS honor amongst thieves, these girls also have their own rules of conduct on how to handle – and con – clients, who still think it’s to his advantage to sit multiple girls. Amongst themselves, they will chose who stays and who goes (many want to just get the sitting fee, go home to their XLG’s or more likely, to go and get another sitting fee), and have their own ways of communicating such. (LOL – I’ve sat in conversations amongst these girls after work, relating how they’d negotiate surreptitiously, how they’d finally decide and how they’d handle the clueless sucker client!! A riot some of the things they do!!). Do also know that these girls are ruthless in enforcing such Hong Kwai (rules of the trade) amongst themselves and those not complying will be ostracized.
But then there are those amongst you who love the feeling of being served as an emperor or even those who thinks that he has a better chance of “scoring” for the night if he has alternatives (errr….are you THAT insecure in yourself that you need such assurance, when you’re just PAYING for sex? Really?!). OK, lets get away from that last part – and just concentrate on guys who just loves to party with multiple girls serving him all night; to you guys, I suggest that you MUST announce your intentions right from the beginning of the night with each of your harem. Tell them in no uncertain ways that you are NOT going to tolerate these stupid games they play amongst themselves to leave early (feigning drunkenness, emergencies, suddenly red…whatever!), and that if anyone don’t like YOUR rules, then please get out right then and there. The rest, get in the program and SERVE you all night long!
- Never be the first one to open the floodgates – and I mean succumbing to their entreaties to buy dolls, or be fed, or be allowed to change into their regular clothes early (an admission by you that you are indeed taking her out later) or even be allowed to order those overpriced milk drinks which they make a commission on/not be fined for not ordering such. You do any of that, and you open the flood gates and all the rest of the girls in the room will also clamor for the same – to the detriment of the rest of your friends.
- Don’t fall for their proclamations of true love or affections for you – Oh, how many knights in shining armors, have instead found out too late that they literally just got screwed! Yeah, their well practiced routine of “Oh my God, I never thought I could feel this way with a customer” or “OMG, I never came before tonight!” or the trump card “I’m now so confused and sad as I know that you only take me as a working girl but…….” DON’T fall for any of that bullshit as you’ll find yourself deep in a hole very soon! Even this thing about going down on them; invariably they will at first NOT allow you to do so, claiming that they’ve never done it before, that its so unclean, whatever and then reluctantly allow you to do so, start to act as if they enjoy it and then their first BIG O!! And how they now no longer could live without you! That Chinese never go down on their girls, that she’s now helplessly and totally hooked on you. Yeah, hook line and sinker!! You the suave, debonair, Western minded Kinight-in-Shining-Armor lover who’s the only one able to make her come….and soon will be out of mucho dineros!!
OK – long enough! Just pump-priming the topic and I hope that the rest of you guys will get into the spirit of the discussion and contribute our own do’s and don’ts for the enrichment of our collective mongering knowledge. And yeah, please don’t just trash this, or try to ridicule the topic. The way that things are in Chang Ping these days, we all need to better arm ourselves; at least that’s how I feel/think and would appreciate your rational and I KNOW useful input.
Thanks – and apologies if I still manage to ruffle some one’s feathers, but hopefully the rest of you guys will just get in the altruistic spirit of the discussion.

Thank you very much for your kind words but i hope you and others here will understand that a cult of personality is the last thing I'd want to develop, as any poster is only as good as his last post!
On top of that, such phenomenon can only be bad for any forum as it then encourages formation of cliques and groups which excludes anybody and any voice not in sync; this discomfort is palpable in any forums with such cult of personality, and is in my opinion why many forums die.
IMHO, a forum is best when there is a free flow of ideas, information and of course opinion. Cliques tend to exclude such and the forum will instead degenerate into banal chatter, mutual back slapping and repeated reminiscing of past glories - which really is of no interest to those "outside of the clique;" things which should be conveyed privately (by pm or SMS or ???) instead of being repeated over and over again to the irritation of most who really don't give a damn about such!!! Ooops!!
Anyway many thanks for expressing your sentiment openly - something which I hope will now happen more on this thread.
