According to what I know now, if you come in from Hong Kong, the total number of days is 14 days standard, without visa application. Yes, you're right, you can go out to Hong Kong get it chopped and you can come back in again. Very convenient.

For me, usually, I get a long working visa, stretching for a year validity, and with 90 days maximum stay, with multiple entries, so when my 90 days is up, I'll just go to Hong Kong, and chop, and Jalan Jalan Hong Kong... (what an expensive place to have fun..., but like in the previous quotes from brothers, the super rich of Hong Kongers will enjoy life in Hong Kong, whereas, only the middle class, and lower-middle, will come and hang out in Shenzhen)

-> Visas could be made via Singapore Travel Agents, as a added value service. But if you really free, you could go to embassy of china to make it

For China Citizen to go to Hong Kong or Macau, or overseas, they will need to apply for travel applications in their own home towns, i.e. if they are localized in Da Lian (Northern place of china), they would have to send their passport back to Da Lian and ask their relatives to apply for them.

But recently, I've heard that there were easy access to travel applications for local Chinese to venture overseas... but for details, you would have to ask a Travel Agent in China, they are very well versed with these sort of applications.

I may have limited information here, brothers, those who know, please add on to what I may have left out, or correct me if I'm wrong.

yup theres this one year or two years validity, if not wrong must depends on the Singapore China embassy.

Well, if In China, can get some local company to write for an extend ( sometimes it depends on the local officer ) and need their company chop and some simple procedures will do and not forgetting a few hundred bucks of RMB to Local Security Bureau.

And of course must see which city and providences as different city has its own local rules. ( I hate this as its fucking complicated )

My suggestion is better to have e one year or two years validity chop into e bloody (F) ( for F visa permits, u need to submit some documents to the Singapore China embassy ) and then after 90 days just chop one more time will do liao…..

III. Instructions for Application through the Chinese Embassy/Consulates

Application Requirements: Please visit the website of the HK Immigration www.info.gov.hk/immd, where related guidance notes and forms can be downloaded.

Process time varies. The Chinese Embassy or Consulate should issue the visa according to the reply from the HK Immigration.

Methods of Application: Applicants are required to appear in the visa office to apply. If an applicant cannot come personally, he/she may entrust a relative, friend, or travel/visa agent to come and submit the application on his/her behalf. The Chinese Embassy does not accept visa applications by mail.

No appointment is necessary for visa applications.

Not really... as i mentioned earlier i hate the signing of tip part. Typical Hkey joint....but the set up is really nice and service level is good.

Aiya...one trip of four pax easily cost 13xxrmb x 3 trip = 4krmb liao.

I told you "I work in HK/SZ, I live n entertian in SZ but I chiong in DG".... Hee...hee...

Just adding on - PRC-ians with GD HuKou can get pass to HK easy. In other words, Shenzhen-ers (or GD-ers if I am not wrong) can apply to transfer their original birthplace HuKou to Shenzhen. Some other qualifications, but must give up their original HuKou. This gives easier access to HK.

Shanghainese and Beijing-ers enjoy easy visa to HK.

BTW, most PRC-ians first timers to Shenzhen aspires to visit HK. After awhile, they don't bother. The lau kong can bring goodies back anyway. The Gals and Girls here know Sasa very well and what to buy. They will often make a cosmetic buying list for the LK or BF, or water fish,,, whatever.

Alternative, go through local travel agent, buy a tour to BKK (most often used) and stay in HK only. When cross Lohu China customs, just say changed itinerary. After that, black list on computer. One time enough for most people anyway.

With Disney opening up in HK, things may change.

Totally agree, these Sauna places in SZX....

Perhaps we can set a concensus here on the amount to sign as tips. Usually, after the service, they poke a note under your nose and say the MAXIMUM tip in the joint is RMB xxx. Therefore, paisei, show off, whatever, happily sign to the MAXIMUM. Hey, can add up to quite a bit if you have 4 services!

I would suggest just half the MAX amount asked. General concensus???
