Manage to track this place down after 2 attempts. Haven't had Singapore/Malaysia food for the past 2 months . Met Grace and I was like having Nasi Lemak in Singapore ! I think I'll be there for at least twice a week if I could. Cheers !

I've been searching for the Parkson Hotel in Huai Hai Lu for Singapore food, but I still can't find a Parkson Hotel in that area. The closest is the Parkson Mall. Is that what everyone is referring to ? The 8th floor of the Parkson Mall (百盛购物中心) in Huai Hai Lu (淮海中路) ? or am I missing something here because everyone keeps saying it's the Parkson Hotel. I can't find any Parkson Hotel in Shanghai using Google and the hotel concierge doesn't know of it either.

Have been leeching off for sometime, so thought of contributing abit = )

Went with clients to 金樽 KTV，宋园路191

Quite a playful place, deco is ok for the larger rooms, but the small rooms is cmi...

Anyway to cut story short, I have about 1-2 bottles of JW black label left over (ordered too much) so if any bros here organzing a slightly larger group which expects to drink more than room charges can PM me, I arrange to release the bottles to you. Lao Jiao will be given preference.

OC staying with me, therefore I rarely goes out unless work calls.

I will not give FR as I am not promoting the place, no connection whatsoever, just offering left over bottles for the kind bros here.

for brothers in pudong, just heard that there is a new place that has just open in Pudong near Long Yang Lu where you take the magnev. guess pudong is gearing up for the expo hehe. i'm still looking for more info

I've been going to Golden 18 several times in the past couple weeks. The roster is getting better and better. Be sure to order as much food as you want when you are finished, its free!

ok. I've tried the place in Parkson Mall, it's called Food Fusion. As I was alone, I only tried 2 dishes, the Bak Kut Teh and the Hainan Chicken.
I ordered the small portion of the Bak Kut Teh. It was really small and only had 2 to 3 bak kut in it. The rest of the bowl was filled with some mushrooms, bean curd skin, pork skin, and some fatty meat. The bak kut was soft though. Not really authentic singapore bak kut teh. Soup is ok, not spicy with pepper.
The Hainan chicken cannot be compared to Boon Tong Kee. It was rough and not as tender. Heavy on the sesame oil. Some discount for the Roti Chanai, Roti Prata and other Indian dishes because of the Deepavali.
I only saw male waiters there. Place was only about 40% full at 8pm.
I think the Rendevour restaurant in Tong Ren lu is better.
