I'm traveling to wetnam in Jun16 with a few friends and intending to go Stocking KTV but seems like it's an atas KTV and playability maybe limited. Damage is USD150 for room inclusive of mummy, waiter tips.
Another KTV I'm considering is Dmax but from reviews, the Guest Service Officer from this place speaks little or no English but apparently it's a fun place. Damage around 2.5-3m based on what I read and everything is charged separate like fruits palette, room charges, beer, water, tips etc.

Use to visit hcmc very often (first trip in 98) and use to checong catwalk and ta bao (usd 100) but guess now no more such kang tao liao, correct? Whree can i find ta bao and damage? I use to go first hotel for massage, still around? Any where to recommend? Thise with vip room.

One place we sure will go is c***alk, this one my fren experienced, the room bill minimum is 5/6 mio vnd. i dont know if this is correct or not. Seems too expensive though, but we can't speak tieng viet. so no choice

Yes that is the one I had in mind, at 173. Cross the street 007 does not have girls like you described. And Mifa (note spelling) is a good one round the corner, the best one I think. In this area at least. Keep going down past Mifa to corner and just to the left is another ok one.

It pays to hangout in those ST hotels after 11AM and get the girls' real phone numbers. They usually arrive after about 11.
You get to see the girls in real life and gauge their personalities somewhat. Also you can access them better with their personal numbers, and they get to keep all the proceeds, not having to split it with the pimps behind the web sites.
Hotels Kathy and Hoang Ha on Le Hong Phong, with the little cafe behind them, are good spots to meet the girls.
Linh Shasxx was way too sweet and sexy, not to mention good-looking like a doll. She may have gotten too popular...hehe.

D-max karaoke is on Ton That Tung street near corner of Bui Thi Xuan. It's a narrow shop-front with nothing to see on the ground floor. Doesn't even look like a karaoke.

Personally I'd feel a bit shady lurking round a hotel trying to meet girls on their way in. My initial meeting with this one was by chance, she and I just both happened to emerge from 2 hotel rooms that were next to each other at the same time and shared the elevator. But each person has their own feelings on these things.
I have mentioned this before. If u could somehow find out where the gals hangout for dinner or tea breaks, u would hit jackpot.

You have to avoid the DJ hours, I think it usually starts 7pm, more or less, depending on the cafe. Some have afternoon DJ too until about 12-2pm I think.
Otherwise sit outside, most have outdoor tables too where it's quieter. At Mifa about half girls work inside and half outside, switching places on alternating days. I used to aim to go about 4pm usually.
