First time going batam on a long weekend trip with 2 newbies. (Laurel and Hardy)

Departed Harborfront to Haborbay at 1150 and arrived on schedule. Batam Fast was only 50% capacity.
The great thing about it is you can smoke in the sundeck.

Cleared Indo custom in 10mins and bought our necessities at the convenience store and also changed our money at the money charger outside the terminal at 9500.

Next our booked ' unreliable' driver drove us to our hotel called GGi which is just across Harborbay. The hotel was $73 per night which is rather expensive.

Upon arrival we realised the rooms were not ready.. We were told to come back at 3pm to checkin..

So we hopped onto the car and headed to Meximo for wantan mee.

Bro, sometime is like that, there is always a lot of choice. Choose wisely. GIGI is one of the most ex hotel near to harbourbay. Try Zest, reasonable price and nice sea view too.

Even tho i am so tempted to visit Batam once a week,but i still try to keep it at once a month,max is twice a month.

Go Geylang and see fish tank , sort of similar experience except there's no Papi/Mami there to break the ice and reduce the awkwardness. It's nearer don't need to travel to Batam. Can help you overcome the barriers.

Apparently,this could be the best solution for the situation. Hence i have a group trip for newbies or 1st timer once every other months to learn and explore. There will still be bros who are suitable and not suitable in the Batam cheonging scene.

Extracting another piece of information (from myself) from the old thread...which i may need in preparation of my coming trip. Bits and pieces are what i use to construct my trip plan.

Superior Room : 400k/night (do not mix this with the economy room,its cheaper)

Deluxe Room : 525k/night

Junior Suite : 670k/night

I remember Biz Hotel also have an executive suite too,but i wasnt exactly very interested. Anyway,for those who use this info,PLEASE DO NOT FORGET to check the website prices before committing yourself to Kaha. They are not always the cheapest (i just checked).

So much for Hotel room price recce from Kaha Travel.

Yes, I paid less because I bargained hard and I obtained a significant discount, while also explicitly requesting that my ojek driver was going to get his commission. And yes, all this was duly reported in one of my long FRs...)

The price I paid was thru booking.com.
Normally it wouldnt be that EX but due the fact i went on a super long weekend .. all available hotel prices have increased.

Wont be returning to it again once Part 2 of my FR is written.

Understand it was a long weekend, but you stay on sunday, sorry, but can't help thinking you still too much for this hotel.
