Hi tai kor tai kor in PP. I plan to open a prepaid line in Cambodia. Any recommendation on which tel co I should use? I only travel to PP 3 mths once. Also where to open a line? I remember there is no 7-11 if I am not wrong. Thks

Just buy from Mobitel and use that. It's a little more expensive but coverage is best especially if you need Internet 3G

Just go to any phone shop in town and tell them you want a new sim card. Since you are 3 month once. You can try 097/Metfone - they give longer reload period as compare to others or you can try 016/Hello or 012/017/092/078 from Mobitel.

You need to give them you passport for photo copy or you can ask a local to buy for you if you have any local friend there. On the safe side, you direct go to the Service Provider shop as below
1. Meftone - opposite Intercontinental Hotel located at Mao Tze Tong Blvd. You will see the green color building
2. Hello Shop - located at either Sorya Shopping Mall or at Phnom Penh Business Centre at Sotheroas Blvd
3. Mobitel Shop - located at Sihanouk Blvd toward the Independent Monument.
4. EASY - straight from the airport - you will see a few kiosk on your left hand. you can get your sim card there.
*make sure you indicated in your photo copy passport for Phone line application.

Don't recommend both easy and hello. Metfone and Mobitel better

Sorry. Is not EASY service provider. I mean easier, you can get it outside from the departure hall if you are flying in.

Bro Casino 333,

Border side metfone and mobitel is better compare to others.But aware of Mobitel sometimes it will auto switch to Vietname service provider if you are under auto roaming. Will cost you a bomb. I got it few times when was in the border.
