Shanghai Shu Yi Quan Sauna
Was in Shanghai last week and decided to give this place a try.
Location: as described by fellow brothers, not difficult to find at all, just tell the tax driver and he will bring you there. Set-up: joint is lcoated in the basement, when you first arrive you walk into the ground floor reception area and will be met by a waiter/usher. He will walkie-talkie your arrival to another group of ushers downstairs. Procedure: relatively straightforward - just say "yes" when the usher asks you if you want a massage. Some people go there just to bathe and not for the massage. Price list is pasted on the wall next to the downstairs cashier/reception for all to see (in Chinese). You are not shown to the locker area, just undress and the attendant will help you hang up your things. If you wish, bring along your HP, wallet, cigarettes, etc, with you. You will be given a zip-lock plastic bag to put all these things in. Next, go have your shower, hot-tub, cold-tub, sauna, steam, back-rub, etc. Only thing is that the facilities do not look as clean as one would wish it to be, but passable (for the price you are paying). After you have washed yourself up you will be shown to a TV room where you can sit in an armchair with your legs up to relax. You can ask for an ear job, ie, someone to clean the wax in your ears or just sit and have a drink. Drinks are on the house but the ear job is extra, I think RMB60 or something like that. When you are ready for your massage just tell the attendants and they will bring you to your room. Massage: room is just slightly bigger than a typical tui na cubicle in Singapore but this is an enclosed room with an half galss door and half glass wall, good thing is that the glass is opaque and nobody can see inside, likewise you cannot see outside. Girl was already in room when I went in. Room more dim than what I would have liked it to be but could still see that she was not bad looking, maybe mid-20's, about 1.5m, reasonable vital statistics.
