just went to check on Candyland today after seeing bro Boliaoz's post....the TN shutter was closed... hope they r not calling it quits...

I also guess that it is gone liao.. Biz has been bad for them. But i think this tn and the beauty salon beside is related. Maybe someone would like to pop over the beauty salon and ask.

I thought it is bcos of the 7th month tat they are closing early. But also noted that that the shutter was closed on the 2 occasions that i was eating at the coffee shop; and that was even before 10pm . . .

Is it bcos their lease already expired and landlord not continuing with such business?

candyland lease has finish and landlord is not renewing the lease. this shop has closed liao>

Seems to be v abrupt, v sudden. Our bro tat frequent never knew tat they are closing? Overnite they just close shop w/o a word?
Normally they would tell u where they are moving to. All of them just disappear?

Update on candyland. The shop is under renovation. Re-opening in mid sept.

So it's not lease expiring as mentioned by joker4115, but actually renovation. But tot they did some renovation 1 or 2 months back?

Not sure about that. I saw the closed for renovation notice stuck on it's roller shutter.

Fishy? Anyone knew before hand tat they will close 4 renovation? Probably some serious problem? Where have they gone?

Let us just wait and see if it open or did any renovation.

No point speculating as there could be many reasons such as change of owner thus waiting for license, or being caught for operating without a valid license, or masseur without certification thus went for course and closed etc...

After she return to Nasi, business was slow. Also, may be due to recent raid in Yishun. She goes home early. Try between 2:00 - 8:00 pm. Sunday is her rest day. Cheers!
