Agree with KLKool that GZ is a waste of money looking for a good bonk. The BBS scene is not one i can ever acquire a taste of in GZ. Too seedy for a lone monger. For me at least. Karaoke is bloody expensive with minimum room charge of RMB 1,200 for a small room. But the quality looks better than the DG karaoke due to better packaging with some 9 point looking GOLDFISH.

Anyway, if you are staying around TianHe, Catwalk is the in place to go currently but it is rather pricey with 6 bottles of Heineken at RMB 200, Minimum charge if you are sitting at the table is RMB 300.

Better take a 30 minute train to CP which cost you only RMB 45 one way. The trip back will cost you RMB 35. Room cost at Hui Mei or Hui Hua is RMB 280 & 320. Both hotels have karaoke with lots of girls so it is very convenient. If you are into the kinky stuff, you could opt for the Massage sauna( Kinky Bonk ) at Hui Mei which cost RMB 500 + ( I forget ).
Alternatively, you can get name cards from the Mummy's who ply the road side from Miraton hotel to Hui Mei. Cost is RMB 150 delivered to your room. Like Pizza Hut !! And don't ever OVERPAY !!

Not impressive prob. due to the time i went - 9pm. However, there's this Club Deluxe very near my place which looks good, should be a KTV. Will try to know more kakis to go KTV with. That would be the better way to know chics in GZ.

By the way, if I do go to this Catwalk alone, do you think there's a chance of picking up gals?

Not sure whether you might get any luck picking up girls from the bars like Catwalk or Babyface cause i normally bring my own stock...hehe. For your info, the bar scene in GZ starts after 10.30 unlike the Karaoke where you need to go early at 8.30 to get the best stock.

Since you are going to the KTV's soon, it is best to get the Mummy's and girl's number, next time just call them for delivery service. Most of the girls will go out with you for the same fee of course.

The damage for GZ KTV girls are 300 : 800 : 1,000-1,300 and you better tell Mummy beforehand that you want only girls that go out with you. There are lots of 10 who are just there to drink, sing song and talk cock with you. Generally, the girls that provide extra service are not as pretty as the GOLDFISH. Maybe you might score if you really look like Brad Pitt..hehe.

I did try out one of the girls a Mummy at Ting Long Hotel introduced. 1 st time was 1,300 for 2 shots. 2nd time was 600 for 2 shots , 3rd time was 400 for 1 shot. Never called her again cause her engine was not too good, or maybe my part was too small for her...kekeke. for those who goes to GZ fairly often or posted there - its much better to go check out the clean foot and massages places and if want to can pfairly easy to make frens with the girls and its fairly. Picking up girls from ktv joints is still rather expensive at about or over rmb1,000 whether in GZ or neighboring towns - and this excludes the money spent on rooms, food etc. Do know a distant town where we can pick up a girl n bring them to GZ city and its only rmb350 and they stay over for the few days - but however do need the personal contacts and unfortunately am not in china now. Or there are a few bbs shops too which are more so for rubba rubba like those in s'pore - except that they dont offer full job (only hj).
For genuine translators, i do have a couple of girls - of which 2 are actually still pursuing their tertiary education and depending on the day/time as to whether they can skip a couple of classes to earn some pocket money - and the charges are between 200 to 300 for a day (7 hrs) work - but this 2 months shd be ok for them as its summer break unless they have found temp jobs or internships.
