Latest on China Visa?

I just came back applying Visa so just want to share with you guy.

Reached 9.30am, walau, the Q is at least 200 - 300m long outside the embassy, bobian i go all the way to Q, those who are going better bring book, mp3 and umbrella, the sun is really killing!! It took me 2hrs to get inside the embassy, took a Q number, than wait for another 1.5hrs to submit the form, less than a minute it all finish.

The lady who process my form, just took 1sec to flip thru my document(airticket/ hotel booking) I really dont think she even look at it, cos so many ppl they are trying to finish it asap.

While she was writing the collection slip, i ask her a question:

Me: Can i have Double Entry Visa (Single $25 / Double $35)

She: Double Entry you need to have 2 confirmed airticket

Me: Oh........(but still keep my SMILE on my face lah)

She: You going to Guangzhou???

Me: Yes

She: Ok, i give you double, collect on friday (19th)


If you dont mind the Q time, than just do it yourself at the embassy. As for Hotel booking, i just go to Ctrip and anyhow choose a hotel and book it, no credit card or whatever needed, but need to registered as a menber first lah, once book, they will send you a confirmation letter in just a few minute.

For application (Visa), time is from 9am to 11.30am. Need to Q but if collection than no need. Hope this help

but spending 3.5 hrs waiting and queueing is not productive at all ..
unless u really have nothing to do ..
alternatively .. just pay $35 to $40 to travel agency and they will get it done for u ... no queue and waiting needed ...

The wait and queue is really a killer, that is why I don't mind paying to get the travel agent to do. But to each his own. Just my personal view..

Good only if on official business. If on private trips, will be a different story..

Heard from my friend that just came back from China and they are not going to lift the visa application even after the paralypics.. Hope that's not true..

Hahaha heng arh. Just nice for my HK/China trip next week. Just returned to Singapore from HCMC yesterday. Thought of skipping China for this trip as still need to make visa again. But this visa episode is history so cheong PRC man! Thinking of doing solo in CP. Book KTV room and choose at least 3 big boobs babes.

What the `FISH'. I had previously just applied and paid for the visa for travel on the 19 SEP and now the wavier starts that day. What unfortunate timing...If they had announced earlier, would have saved the time and money..

Yap! Just read it in today newspaper too. Starting 19 Sep...don't need VISA for travelling less than 15 days in PRC...
