whether we are from st. pat or sji, etc. as long as we are from CBS, we are one big gang. when we talk w other CBS old boys, we can feel the same frequency and have the monkey-boy behaviours.

i remembered one day, i was w a gathering of about 10 plus ppl. we were happy singing and drinking. had all the tcss and fun and laughter. then suddenly i stopped and asked, who were from CBS. and everybody called out their school. and our whole party became all versus 2 ACS boys. ha ha...

CBS old boys have the feeling of knowing each other when we meet. we just can feel it and sense that the other guy is like "of the same kind".

Legendary teachers during my time included square head (taught Chinese). Unfortunately, square head passed away about 1 decade back. There was a geography teacher with a bald pate with a most apt nickname, gobi desert.

Yeah plus the SNOB tag, most unfairly given by one of the ministers. All students were not allowed to bring more than $5 to school on any given day, unless the extra cash was to pay fees or buy official stuff...stoopid rule.

And yes he does look like Saddam but above all I frickin hate the Head Tutor(?) for Sec 2 Ms Ellen W**, and the Sec 3 head Mr Tan* **** ***. Oh yeah and Mr Ant**** *'****. Wahlau they called me everything from Satanist, to pai kia, to slacker, Communist. And SJI still owes me at least 4 CD's and 3 novels they confiscated because they deemed it all "Satanic". Basket, good times though, skip school by calmly walking out the main gate then go play pool at Paradiz Centre. Smoking at the corner above the Hall...hahaahahaha
